STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE CONDITIONS

  1. Products must be adequately protected against impact, fracture and scratching during transport and storage after delivery to the customer.
  2. Products should be stored indoors so that they do not crack due to frost effect resulting from water lling in them.

RULES TO FOLLOW DURING INSTALLATION

  1. When installing the product, additional materials supplied or recommended with the product should be used.
  2. When preparing the infrastructure before installation, the dimensions in the technical catalog for the products to be installed should be taken into account..
  3. Suspended WC pans should be installed with an embedded cistern installation system, and bidets should be installed with special installation equipment. These products should not be installed directly on the wall.
  4. Footed washbasins should be installed on the wall. Washbasin feet are not carriers.
  5. Product xture holes are drilled only by the manufacturer, absolutely no other drilling should be carried out.
  6. Cement, plaster and similar materials that expand when hardening should not be used for installation.
  7. Sealed pan connector should be used in the installation of WC pans to prevent odor.

RULES TO FOLLOW DURING USAGE

  1. Foreign substances (mortar, lime, cloth towels, paper towels, cigarette butts, etc.) that will clog the siphons should not be thrown into the WC pans.
  2. Ceramic products should not be exposed to thermal shocks (pouring excessive hot water). Hot containers should not be placed on the washbasins.
  3. Sweating may occur on the outer surface of the cistern due to the difference between the water temperature in the cistern and the ambient temperature. It is recommended to dry water droplets regularly.
  4. Ceramic products can be damaged when a hard process is applied. Dropping of any objects on the surface of ceramic products should be avoided. When using such objects in the houses, it is recommended to place a shock-reducing material in the chamber against breakage and cracking.

CONSIDERATIONS DURING CLEANING

  1. Product should be cleaned regularly with liquid cleaning agents to ensure that sediment and foreign substances from the inner building installations, water tanks and mains water do not leave stains on the ceramic surface. Permanent marks may occur on ceramic surfaces that are not cleaned for a long time.
  2. Ceramic products should not be cleaned with cleansers containing acidic and corrosive powder or hard cleaning tools (wire, hard sponge, etc.).

WARRANTY TERMS

  1. The warranty period starts as of the invoice date. For ceramic sanitary ware, the warranty periods given in the table apply.
  2. The additional materials and complementary products supplied with the product are under warranty by our company for 1 year. Warranty period information for other product groups can be found at www.vitraglobal.com.
  3. The product shall be inspected upon receipt. Vitra should be informed immediately about any detectable defect.
  4. Vitra is entitled to inspect any damage at any time, together with third parties for the purpose of determining damage and any possible cause. If the inspection is refused by the purchaser/end-user, any liability or defects will be extinguished.
  5. Complaints in a relation to detectable defects are permitted only before use, installation or processing. Vitra is not responsible for any cost if any product has been installed or used even it has a visible defect.
  6. The entire product, including all its parts are covered by the warranty.
  7. The warranty period of a product changed during the warranty period is limited to the remaining warranty period of the purchased product.
  8. Situations not covered by warranty:
    • Damage or loss resulting from unreasonable use, misuse, abuse, negligence or improper maintenance.
    • Damage or loss sustained in a natural disaster such as a re, earthquake, food, etc.
    • Failures caused by faulty installation and disassembly by unauthorized persons that do not comply with the steps in the installation brochure
    • Failures caused by maintenance and repair by unauthorized persons
    • Damage or loss caused by sediments or foreign substances in the water system
    • Failures caused by using the product without observing the instructions in User Manual and in Storage and Maintenance Conditions,
      Rules to Follow During Installation, Rules to Follow During Usage, Considerations During Cleaning sections of this document are not covered by the warranty
