southco P2-41 Flush Pull
Product Information
The P2 Flush Pull is a product made of ABS plastic with a black finish. It is available in two sizes: small and large. The maximum static load for lifting/pulling is 1300 N (300 lbf) for the small size and 450 N (100 lbf) for the large size. The door thickness range for installation is between 1.0 mm (.040 inch) to 2.5 mm (.100 inch). The flammability rating is UL94-HB or UL94-V0.
Product Usage Instructions
- Measure the door thickness to ensure it falls within the specified range of 1.0 mm (.040 inch) to 2.5 mm (.100 inch).
- Select the appropriate part number based on the desired size, flammability rating, and lock style. Refer to the provided table for part number options.
- If a lock core is desired, choose a part number that includes a lock core and specify the keying option (KA or KD). If a lock core is not needed, choose a part number without a lock core.
- If a lock core is selected, refer to the provided table for the corresponding key code and bag quantity.
- Install the P2 Flush Pull on the door by following the installation instructions provided in the complete user manual available at www.southco.com/P2.
Note: For pulls without a lock core, the lock core needs to be purchased separately. The cam for the lock is also sold separately. Refer to page 167 of the handbook or visit www.southco.com for more information.

Installation Notes
- Prepare panel and install the latches shown on page 164.
- Latch should be in the unlatched position. The flats of the lock extender should be aligned with the flats on the housing.
- Take a lock core and orient the brass wafers to the internal ramped area of the housing. Push the lock core into the housing until it stops.
- Insert key into the lock core and turn to verify lock core is fully seated and operating properly.
- Install cam.

Installation Notes
- Place the sealing washer onto the housing (if included) and put through the mounting hole (see panel preparation).
- Install the mounting nut and tighten to 5 N•m (44 in Ibf).
- Install cam to assembly Properly orientate for rotation and grip.
- Install screw. Tighten to 4 N•m (35 in Ibf).
