Tetra 380 Tetronic LED ProLine
This product is a LED luminaire designed for use in aquariums. It comes with various attachment options and can be used for both day and night lighting. The LED luminaire is waterproof and dustproof with an IP67 rating. It is intended for indoor use only.

Construction and Attachment
Placing the LED luminaire on the edge of the aquarium:
- Place the multi adapters over the bayonet connectors on the luminaire.
Placing the LED luminaire in the light bracket for fluorescent tubes:
The T5 or T8 adapters are required for this attachment option.
- Place the T5 or T8 adapters over the bayonet connectors on the luminaire.
- Place the union nuts onto the T5 or T8 adapters.
- Pull out the extension arms until the T5 or T8 adapters are aligned with the bracket.
- Hold the LED luminaire between the bracket, twist the union nuts onto the bracket, and hand-tighten by turning clockwise.
Attaching the LED luminaire using screws:
Multi adapters are required for this attachment option.
- Place the multi adapters over the bayonet connectors on the luminaire.
- Adjust the extension arms to the required length and secure each.
Initial Use
The switch on the connection cable enables you to switch the LED luminaire between day and night mode as well as to switch it off entirely.
- Connect the two sections of the connection cable.
- Plug the power supply into the socket.
WARNING
- This device is suitable for use by children aged 8 and over as well as people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacities or a lack of experience and knowledge if they are supervised or have been instructed how to safely use the device and understand the resultant risks.
- Children must not play with the device.
- Children must not conduct cleaning or user maintenance activities without supervision.
- Switch off and unplug all devices before reaching into the water.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Prevention of electric shocks
- Only connect the Tetronic LED ProLine to a professionally installed plug socket.
- Only connect the power supply to the mains if the local supply voltage corresponds to the specifications in the technical data.
- Protect the power supply and plug-in connectors against moisture.
- Ensure that no moisture is able to penetrate the plug socket. Install the connection cable in such a manner that it hangs down slightly before reaching the socket.
- Never open the housing of the LED luminaire or the power supply.
- Do not modify the LED luminaire, the power supply or the connection cables.
- The external flexible cord of this luminaire cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the luminaire shall be destroyed.
- The external flexible cord of the power supply cannot be replaced; if the cord is damaged, the power supply shall be destroyed.
- In case of damage, immediately unplug the power supply from the mains.
- Always disconnect the power supply from the mains before cleaning the LED luminaire.
Prevention of injuries and risks to people
- Do not allow children to play with the packaging materials. Risk of suffocation.
- Ensure the connection cable does not pose a trip hazard.
- Glass breakage results in a risk of cuts.
- Wear protective gloves when removing shards of glass.
Prevention of material damage
- Do not bend or crush the connection cable.
- Only ever pull on the power supply, not the connection cable.
- Only use the LED luminaire with the power supply provided or a replacement power supply from Tetra.
- Only use original spare parts and accessories.

PRODUCT BASICS
Product description
The Tetronic LED ProLine is an LED luminaire with a switch for selecting
between day and night mode. It can be attached to many different aquariums and
terrariums thanks to the adjustable extension arms.
Intended use
Only use the Tetronic LED ProLine 380/580/780/980/1180/1380
- as an LED luminaire for an aquarium or terrarium,
- in indoor areas,
- for private use,
- in line with the technical data.
CONSTRUCTION AND ATTACHMENT
The adapters provided enable the luminaire to be attached in three different
ways:
- Option 1 : place the LED luminaire on the edge of the aquarium.
- Option 2 : place the LED luminaire in the light bracket supports for fluorescent tubes.
- Option 3 : attach the LED luminaire using screws.
- Option 4 : Tetronic LED ProLine Arms.
Placing the LED luminaire on the edge of the aquarium
The multi adapters are required for this attachment option. The luminaire can
be placed on aquariums with an edge thickness of 4 – 10 mm.
Procedure: Fig. B
- Place the multi adapters over the bayonet connectors on the extension arms.
- Rotate the multi adapters by 90° until they click into place.
- Turn the assembly so that the open sides of the multi adapters face the edge of the aquarium.
- Push the extension arms into the openings at both ends of the LED luminaire.
- The teeth on the extension arms must point towards the luminaire.
- Adjust the extension arms to the required length and carefully press the LED luminaire onto the edge of the aquarium until it sits securely.
- The arms must not be extended by more than 12.5 cm on either side of the LED luminaire.
Placing the LED luminaire in the light bracket for fluorescent tubes
The T5 or T8 adapters are required for this attachment option.
Condition:
- The bracket is compatible with T5 or T8 fluorescent tubes. The union nuts with seals for attaching the fluorescent tubes are needed to attach the LED luminaire and seal the bracket.
Procedure: Fig. C
- Place the T5 or T8 adapters over the bayonet connectors on the extension arms.
- Rotate the adapters by 90° until they click into place.
- The adapters must be positioned above the luminaire unit.
- Push the extension arms into the openings at both ends of the LED luminaire.
- The teeth on the extension arms must all point towards the luminaire.
- Place the union nuts onto the T5 or T8 adapters.
- Pull out the extension arms until the T5 or T8 adapters on both sides are flush with the bracket.
- The arms must not be extended by more than 12.5 cm each.
- Hold the LED luminaire between the bracket, twist the union nuts onto the bracket and hand-tighten by turning clockwise.
Attaching the LED luminaire using screws
The multi adapters are required for this attachment option.
Procedure: Fig. D
- Place the multi adapters over the bayonet connectors on the extension arms.
- Rotate the multi adapters by 90° until they click into place.
- The multi adapters must be positioned above the luminaire.
- Push the extension arms into the openings at both ends of the LED luminaire.
- The teeth on the extension arms must point towards the luminaire.
- Adjust the extension arms to the required length and secure the multi adapters with three screws each.
- The arms must not be extended by more than 12.5 cm each.
Tetronic LED ProLine Arms
The Tetronic LED ProLine Arms bracket is optionally available for aquariums or
terrariums without a lid.

INITIAL USE
The switch on the connection cable enables you to switch the LED luminaire
between day and night mode as well as to switch it off entirely.
Procedure: Fig. E
- Connect the two sections of the connection cable.
- Plug the power supply into the socket.
- The lowest point of the connection cable must be below the socket to prevent any water that drips down from entering the socket.
- Press the switch.
- 0 = light off
- I = day mode
- II = night mode
LUMINAIRE CARE
The Tetronic LED ProLine is maintenance-free but requires occasional cleaning.
- Always disconnect the power supply from the mains before cleaning the luminaire.
NOTE: Do not use chemical cleaning agents as these can be harmful to your animals, plants, and the environment.
- Simply wipe all components with a damp cloth.
REPAIR
The LED packages in the LED luminaire are not replaceable. When the LED
packages reach their end of life, the whole LED luminaire must be replaced.
DISPOSAL
The Tetronic LED ProLine contains electronic components and cannot be disposed
of with standard household waste.
- Dispose of the device using the return system for your area so that the raw materials can be recycled.
- Cut off all cables prior to disposal to prevent the device from being used.

380/580/780/980/1180/1380 comes with a two-year warranty from the purchase
date. Please save your receipt. The warranty shall not apply in the event of
improper handling, standard wear, and tear, failure of up to 4 % of the LEDs,
or interference with the device technology. Your statutory rights are not
