Launching the app for the first time

When you launch the “Tetra Aquatics” app for the first time, you will be asked to register with Tetra (if you have not already done so). You will need to provide a user name and password. You can then use these details to log in.

Pairing the app with the LED luminaire

The pairing procedure is described below. Further relevant information, particularly with regard to app components, can be found in the “App screens” section.
Procedure:

  1. If the status LED on the control box is not flashing blue (Operating and display components), you must first set the control box to pairing mode. To achieve this, press the reset button next to the status LED for approx. 5 seconds using e.g. a paper clip that has been bent open. The LED should be flashing blue.

  2. Launch the “Tetra Aquatics” app, log in with your user name and password, and select “My Aquarium”.

  3. Add a new aquarium or select an existing one. Accept the prompt asking whether the app can access your location.

Ensure that GPS is enabled on your smartphone.

  8. Add a new device in the app: Click on the Devices + symbol. Select the new device “Tetra Tetronic LED …” Click on “add”. The device is then configured. This may take some time. You can now begin programming your device.
