The lightning flash with arrowhead inside the triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the product’s enclosure that may be of a sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock.

  7. Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance to the manufacturer’s instructions.
  8. Do not use near any heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, or other devices (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
  9. Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades with one wider than the other. A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician about the replacement.
  10. Protect the power cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point connecting to the device.
  11. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
  12. Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for long periods of time.
  13. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel.
  14. The MAINS plug is used to disconnect the device. The disconnected device will remain in standby.

Note: There is a built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery in the device. Danger of explosion if the device is disassembled. The device should not be placed close to excessive heat source. The battery should not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like Danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type of the battery.

Correct disposal of this product. This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household waste throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment, please follow the government guidelines and recycle responsibly.

Unpack the box

Charge Instructions:

Fully charge the radio using the supplied AC adapter(9V/0.5A) prior to the first use. A solid red LED light (under DC input charging port) indicates that the device is charging. When fully charged the LED indicator will turn green.

(1) Volume knob/Standby button: Turn the knob to adjust volume, press it to mute.
Long press it to enter/exit standby mode.
(2) MENU.INFO button: Short press — Show DAB information.
Long press — enter menu list.
(3) PRESET button: DAB/FM mode: Short press — recall preset radio list.
Long press — add current radio station to the preset radio list.
(4) ALARM.SLEEP button: Short press — enter sleep timer set up.
Long press — enter Alarm clock set up.
(5) MODE / LIGHT button:
Short press — Modes switch between DAB/ FM/ BT/ TF/ USB.
Long press — adjust the display brightness level 1-2-3
(6) Next button: Skip to next
(7) Shortcut button P1/P2/P3/P4:
In DAB/FM mode: press — P1/P2/P3/P4 button to go your preset list P1/P2/P3/P4.
In DAB/FM mode: long press — P1/P2/P3/P4 button to save current radio station as P1/P2/P3/P4 directly.

FM/DAB mode: Long press–Automatic searching for available radio channels

Power ON/OFF

Move the Antenna first, then move the power switch to ON or OFF side to power on/off the device.

DAB Radio
  1. Upon being powered on the device will go to DAB mode automatically and will start searching for available DAB stations, which will be stored after the search is complete.

  2. Press < > button to select your desired DAB stations, and press ENTER button to play.

  3. Press the MENU.INFO button to view the current station information: text information, signal strength, program type, episode name, channel number/frequency, signal error rate, bit rate, time and date, etc.

  4. Saving stations into preset mode:
    (1) Long press enter – scan button (if a full scan was previously done please move to step 2)
    (2) Find the radio station by pressing the < > button.
    (3) Select the channel you want to save, press the ENTER button to enter.
    (4) Press and hold the preset button for 3 seconds.
    (5) Pick one of the available (Empty) slots from the preset store screen.
    (6) Press enter button to save the channel.

  5. Short press the PRESET button to recall preset radio list. Press the < > button to select DAB station, then press the ENTER button to play.

Note: Please press the PRESET button to access your preset radio stations in DAB mode, otherwise the stations will display in automatically set order.

FM Radio
  1. Press M button to switch to FM radio mode.
  2. Press and hold the ENTER(scan) button 2~3 seconds to start automatic searching for FM radios channels. Available channels will be stored after the search is complete.
  3. Press the PRESET button to recall FM Radio station list, then press < > button to select the desired station and press the ENTER button to play.
  4. Press < > button to adjust radio frequency by 0.05MHz each time. Long press < > button to enable automatic search for next/previous radio station.
  5. Long press the PRESET button to add current radio station to the stored radio station list, press < > button to select list number you want to use, then press the ENTER button to confirm.
Bluetooth music play
  1. Press M button to switch to Bluetooth mode
  2. To use your Bluetooth enabled device, make sure the Bluetooth function is enabled, then search for “Roxel RDR-80” on the list and click on it to connect.
  3. Play music on your music list from your Bluetooth enabled device via “Roxel RDR-80”. Press < > button to go the next/previous songs; turn the volume knob to adjust volume.
  4. Press the ENTER button to play/pause music. Press the Volume knob to mute sound.
  5. Long press the ENTER button to disconnect Bluetooth.
USB/ micro SD card music play
  1. Insert USB / micro SD card , and press M button to switch to USB / SD mode. It will play music from USB/ micro SD automatically. (Largest capacity of USB/ micro SD the device can support. 64GB)
  2. Press < > button to go the next/previous song.
  3. Turn the volume knob to adjust volume.
  4. Press the ENTER button to play/pause music. Press the Volume knob to mute sound.
  5. Press the PRESET button to switch to loop playback mode. There are currently three switchable: Repeat All/Repeat One/Random.
  6. Supports audio decoding format:MP3/WAV/FLAC/WMA/APE.
Time and Date Set up

A- Under DAB radio mode, if DAB signal can be searched, the device will automatically set the local time.
B- Manual Time setting:

  1. Press and hold the MENU.INFO button 2~3 seconds to enter menu list,
    → Press < > button ( or turn the volume knob ) to select “Time and Date”
    → Press the ENTER button to enter Time and date set up.

  2. Press < > button to select the numbers, press the ENTER button to confirm and go to month/year/minutes/hours set up.

Sleep Timer
  1. Press the ALARM.SLEEP button to enter sleep timer set up.
  2. Press < > button (or turn volume knob) to select 15 minutes /30 minutes/…/ 2 hours.
  3. Press the ENTER button to confirm sleep timer set up.
  4. The device will go to standby mode after 15 minutes /30 minutes/…/ 2 hours.
    (If select “OFF” and press ENTER button, Sleep timer will be turned off.)
Alarm clock Set up

This device can set 2 sets of alarms.

  1. Press and hold the ALARM button 3 seconds to enter alarm clock set up.

  2. Press < > button to select Alarm 1 / Alarm 2, and press the ENTER button to confirm.
    Alarm: Press the ENTER button to select ON/OFF
    Time: Press the ENTER button to enter alarm time set up, press < > button to select the digits, press the ENTER button to confirm and go to next step.
    Source: Press < > button to select FM/DAB/Buzzer as alarm sound source. Press the ENTER button to confirm and go to next step.
    Repeat Press < > to select Once/ Daily / Weekends /Workday. Press the ENTER button to confirm and go to next step.
    Volume: Press < > to adjust alarm volume. Press the ENTER button to confirm.

  3. When the alarm clock rings, press the ENTER button to activate snooze function, the alarm will rings again after 5 minutes.

  4. Press the ALARM button to stop alarm. (or press the STANDBY.VOLUME button to stop alarm, and the device will go to standby mode.)
