FOR A BETTER TRACKPAD EXPERIENCE

  1. Adjust Tracking Speed.
    • Go to Settings > General > Trackpad > Adjust Tracking Speed
  2. Enable Tap to Click.
    • Go to Settings > General > Trackpad > Turn on Tap to Click
  3. Enable Two Finger Secondary Click.
    • Go to Settings > General > Trackpad > Turn on Two Finger Secondary Click
  4. Disable Assistive Touch.
    • Go to Settings > Accessibility > Touch > Assistive Touch > Turn off Assistive Touch

Using Instructions

Pairing Mode

  • Press and hold for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode. Bluetooth will exit the pairing mode if no connection is made within 3 minutes.

Bluetooth Connection

  • Go to iPad’s Settings > Bluetooth to turn it on. Find “Dracool Keyboard” under “OTHER DEVICES” and connect it.

Bluetooth Re-connection

  • After a successful pairing, the keyboard will automatically pair with your iPad in 5 seconds the next time.

Charging Indicator

  • In Charging
  • Fully Charged
  • Low Battery

Auto Sleep

  • The keyboard backlight will automatically enter sleep mode after 30 seconds of inactivity, and the keyboard itself will also enter sleep mode after 30 minutes of inactivity.
  • Press any key to wake up the keyboard, and it will automatically reconnect to your device.

  • Go to iPad’s Settings > General > Keyboard > Hardware keyboard

CLICK-ANYWHERE TRACKPAD

  • Tap/Click with one finger: Left-button function. (Press and hold to drag the app icon)
  • Tap/Click with two fingers: Right-button function (To access the right-click menu)
  • Swipe left or right with two fingers to switch between pages of the home screen.
  • Swipe up slowly with three fingers to show recent apps.
  • Press and hold the trackpad and move the cursor to select text.
  • Tap with two fingers to access the right-click menu of the text.
  • Move the cursor onto the upper left or right corner and click to show the status bar/settings.
  • On any app, move the cursor quickly to the bottom of screen to display iPad’s Dock.
  • Slide up or down with two fingers to scroll
  • Swipe left or right with three fingers to switch between recent apps.
  • Swipe up quickly with three fingers to show home screen.
  • Pinch or streatch out with two fingers to zoom in or out. (Available for browser, text editor, and other software.)
  • On the “Recents” View:
    • Move the cursor onto the app, then tap with one finger to open the app.
    • Move the cursor onto the app, then slide up with two fingers to close the app.

  • Store your Tablet into the keyboard case and fold it to carry around.

TROUBLESHOOTING

If the keyboard doesn’t work, please check:

  1. If its battery has run out, if yes, please charge it immediately.
  2. If the Bluetooth connection fails, turn off the keyboard and restart it after 10 seconds, and the keyboard will reconnect to your device automatically. If the problem still exists, go to iPad’s Settings > Bluetooth> My Devices to delete “Dracool Keyboard”. Then reconnect the keyboard according to the previous connection steps.
  3. If the Bluetooth connection still fails, press and oxide for 3 seconds to restore factory settings. Then reconnect the keyboard.
  4. Or you can restart your Tablet and then check if the keyboard can work normally.

Friendly Reminder

  • The keyboard is built with rechargeable polymer battery. If you’re not going to use the keyboard for a long time, we suggest turning it off to avoid power drain and extend its battery life.
