MOUNTING INSTRUCTION
ON DOOR STORAGE
Elfa’s On Door storage solution makes use of otherwise wasted space on the
door.
No tools required, quick installation with over door hooks. Add baskets and
boards of different sizes.
Can also be attached with screws onto the wall.
You need the following to assemble your solution:
- Leveller
- Drill/screwdriver (when mounting on wall)
Before mounting, make sure the inner door you are mounting on is around 40 mm
thick and between 2010-2150 mm in height. Also make sure that the wall band
you are using is the H: 198 wall band.
Also make sure that the door is set straight.
MOUNTING ON DOOR

Start by positioning the upper piece of the Over door hook set on top of the door.

Slide on the wall band in the second pair of slots, counting from the top.

Continue by sliding in the lower piece of the Over door hook set into the wall band – most likely the third and fourth slots from the bottom of the wall band.
Preferably, use a leveller to ensure the wall band is straight.
Use the Allen key that is included in the Over door hook set to tighten the
hook.
Turn the key until you feel the wall band being tightened at the bottom
attachment.
Start to attach the storage functions for your On Door storage solution by sliding them into the wall band, making sure that the teeth are completely sunk down into the slots.
MOUNTING ON WALL

If you want to mount directly on a wall, you won’t need an Over door hook – just fasten directly into the wall.

Fasten the wall band with a screw in the upper hole.

Preferably, use a leveller in order to determine that the wall band is straight, before fastening the other screws through the holes in the wall band.
