BERGMEN RX-2 Stark LED Modules

Special precautions

1. The product should be used for its intended purpose.
2. Before an installation product should be checked according to order (model, color temperature, quantity, etc.) and tested to ensure that it is free from any defects. Led module or wires damage unqualified the product for installation. If damage is found, please contact the seller immediately.
3. The installation should be done in accordance with the assembly instructions.
4. The assembly should be done by a person with appropriate qualifications. It has to be ensured that the power is off. An installation with the power on can damage products and human health or life.
5. While connecting the product to a power source, it is recommended to use the safety guidelines contained in among others the European Standard PN-EN 50110-1: 2013-05.
6. Making repairs and modifications on your own causes losing of the warranty in the loss of the warranty, and also threatens health or life. Detailed information about the guarantee is included in the General Terms and Conditions of Guarantee and General Sales Conditions and documents are available at www.bergmen.pl.
7. Neither the product nor any of its component or packaging elements is a toy. Keep them away from children. The assembly should not be done in the company of children.
8. To ensure the safe use of the product and its declared lifetime, avoid:
   • shocks, which could lead to the destruction of LEDs,
   • contact with water, dust (adequately to the degree of IP protection specified in the product data sheet), chemicals, and lubricants that after penetration into the product could damage its components.

Recommendations

• Before starting the installation, make sure that you have the right constant voltage power supply adapter adjusted to the product (full specification in the datasheet). Connecting the product to a voltage higher than recommended may lead to irreparable damage.
• Product assembly is recommended on surfaces that provide free heat dissipation, e.g. aluminum profiles. The type of substrate (cooling conditions) affects the declared life of the product.
• It is not recommended to use modules with IP 44-65 in places directly exposed to atmospheric conditions (rainfall, UV radiation, etc.).

Assembly instruction

1. Disconnect the power supply.
2. Thoroughly degrease the mounting surface.
3. Place LED modules inside the lightbox/channel letter and fix them with glue or a screw – for better adherence.
4. Make sure that the LED strip has been correctly mounted and that it is firmly attached to the ground.
5. Connect the product to the power supply according to the attached scheme (Fig.1). For single-color products that do not have polarization (no ‘+” “-“wire marking), the polarity of the connection is optional.
6. Turn on the power and check the operation of the module.

Maintenance and disposal

1. Maintenance should be done with the power switched off after the product has cooled down completely. The product is equipped with an LED light source that is not interchangeable.
2. After use return the product to an appropriately licensed drop-off point for electrical waste (detailed information available here: https://bergmen.pl/zzsee.pdf).
3. It is not allowed to dispose of used products together with household waste.
