Introduction

The SKM-W4 is an incredibly lightweight, ultracompact and easy-to-use 2.4GHz wireless microphone system, delivering clear, high-quality sound to cameras, smartphones, tablets, etc. It is ideal for live streaming, vlogging, content creation, interviews, and more.
The SKM-W4 TX clip-on transmitter features a high-quality built-in mic and a 3.5mm audio input. I t is small and light enough to clip to shirts and clothing. With gain and mute controls, you are in total control of your sound.
The SKM-W4 RX dual-channel receiver features an easy-to-use OLED display , 3.5mm headphone jack for audio monitoring and a 3.5mm audio output. The addition of a built-in mic on the receiver unit makes it possible to record sound from the camera
operator. Three selectable pickup modes(MIC/RCVR/MIX) allow you to pick up audio from either the transmitter, the receiver, or both.

1. Built-in mic

2. 3.5mm mic/line in jack It can be connected to the supplied 3.5mm lavalier microphone, or other 3.5mm TRS microphones or line-in devices.
   Note: Ifa line-in device is connected, please decrease the TX’s mic gain to an appropriate level .

   Press and hold + and – buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.

1. 3.5mm headphone output Connect headphones for audio monitoring.

3. 3.5mm line out jack Connect the SKM-W4 RX to a smartphone, tablet, camera, recorder or mixer with the supplied output cables.

   On menu screen, short press to select different functions or values shown on the display.
   SET| On home screen, long press to enter the menu screen, On menu screen, long press to enter the displayed menu. Then, long press again to confirm your option.

7. -button
   On home screen, short press to decrease volume.
   On menu screen, short press to select different functions or values shown on the display; long press to return to home screen.

8. USB-C charging port
   Use the supplied USB-C charging cable to charge the unit.

Home screen

If no operation is performed within 20 seconds on menu screens, the display will automatically return to home screen.

   Displays the battery level. Please recharge the receiver immediately as soon as the indicator starts flashing.

Menu screen

Mode Setting
Three pickup modes are available.
MIC(Only TX) mode: only picks up sound from the transmitter’s microphone (either built-in or external).

MIX(RX+TX) mode: picks up sound from the receiver’s built-in microphone and transmitter’s microphone (either built-in or external).
RCVR(Only RX) mode: only picks up sound from the receiver’s built-in microphone.

Default is “MIC(Only TX) ” .

Output Volume Setting
Output volume can be set from 0 to 6.
Default is “5”.
(The setting is retained even after the unit is turned off.)

RX’s Mic Gain Setting
Adjust the input gain level (0~6) of the receiver’s built-in microphone.
Default is “ 5 S ” ,
(The setting is retained even after the unit is turned off.)

Output Mode Setting
The output mode can be set to either mono or stereo. When i n mono mode, the audio from the transmitter, or transmitters will be mixed to both the left and right sides. When i n stereo mode, the two transmitters’ audio output will be separated to the left and right sides.
Default is “Mono”.

Mute Key Setting
Enable or disable mute key button function. If “Enable” is selected, short press the mute button can mute/unmute the microphone. If “Disable” is selected, the mute key function is disabled, and short press the button won’t mute the microphone.
Default is “Enable”.

Backilght Setting
Set backlight to always on or on for 10/30/60 seconds.
Default is “On”.

Language Setting
English and Chinese are available.
Default is English.

Restore Default Setting

Pairing
Use to pair the receiver with the transmitter. Long press the SET button to enter the Pair menu, Select “Yes?” and then long press the SET button again to confirm.

Connect the receiver to your smartphone/camera.

3. Pairing

Before leaving factory, the system is pre-paired. Therefore, the connection will be established once they are powered on. If they are disconnected, please follow the steps below:

1. Long press “+” and “-” buttons of the transmitter simultaneously to enter pairing mode.
2. Long press “+” and “-” buttons of the receiver simultaneously to enter pairing mode. Or use the Pair menu to enter pairing mode(For details of operation, please refer to “OLED Display Operation Guide”).
3. Transmitter and receiver will be paired within 10 seconds,

4. Before you start recording, please set the pickup mode according to your needs.

Long press the SET button to enter menu screen. Select the Mode menu. Then, long press the SET button to enter the menu. Use the + or – button to select a mode according to your needs and long press the SET button to confirm.

5.You are ready to record.
Note: Due to 2.4GHz wireless frequency, signal can be easily attenuated. Pleasetry to avoid obst0acles , such as walls and buildings, and avoid close proximity to devices with 2.4GHz signal, such as high-power wifi antennas, radios, etc.
