1.1 General safety

Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
• Do not use it if the power cable or the appliance itself is damaged. Contact an authorized service.

• The main supply of the appliance must be secured with a minimum 16 A fuse.
• Do not use the appliance with an extension cord.
• In order to prevent the power cable from getting damaged, make sure that it doesn’t get stuck, twisted, or rub against sharp surfaces.

• Only use the original parts or parts recommended by the manufacturer.
• The plug must be removed from the socket outlet before cleaning or maintaining the appliance.
• If heavily used for cleaning dust such as cement or grout the dust indicator will be lit earlier than expected, in such case replace the dust bag even if it is empty.
• Do not use the appliance without filters; otherwise, it can get damaged.
• Keep fingers, hair, and loose clothing from moving parts and openings whilst using the vacuum cleaner.
• When vacuuming the stairs, the appliance should be located below the user.
• If your store the packaging material, keep it out of the reach of children.

Upholstery tool: Curtains, cushions, sofas, and upholstery fabrics.
Crevice tool: Hard-to-reach areas and narrow gaps.
Dust brush: Sensitive flat areas, bookshelf, wooden furniture.
2.2 Cleaning and care
Switch off and unplug the appliance, before cleaning it.
