General information
Read and retain the user manual!
This user manual belongs to the INVICTUS ONE 3.0e (hereafter referred to only as “manual vacuum cleaner”). It includes valuable information regarding safety and use. Carefully read the user manual, in particular the safety instructions, before using the manual vacuum cleaner. Failure to comply with this user manual may result in serious injuries or damage to the handheld vacuum cleaner.
The user manual is based on the standards and regulations valid in the European Union. You must also adhere to country-specific guidelines and laws if abroad. Retain the user manual for further use. If you pass the handheld vacuum cleaner on to third parties, you must have this user manual over with it.

The following symbols and signal words are used in this user manual, on the handheld vacuum cleaner or on the packaging.

Safety
Proper use
The handheld vacuum cleaner is designed exclusively for the suction of loose, dry dirt e.g. household dirt, lint, crumbs and dust. It is only intended for private use and is not suitable for commercial areas.
Only use the handheld vacuum cleaner as described in this user manual. All other use is deemed improper use and may cause material damages or even personal injury. The handheld vacuum cleaner is not a toy. The manufacturer and distributor accept no liability for damages resulting from improper or incorrect use.
Safety instructions
WARNING!
RISK OF ELECTROCUTION!
Improper electrical installation or excessive mains voltages can result in electric shock.
- Only switch the handheld vacuum cleaner on if the mains voltage of the plug socket matches the specification on the type plate of the power supply.
- Only connect the power supply to an easily accessible plug socket, in order that it can be quickly disconnected from the mains in case of a fault.
- Do not operate the handheld vacuum cleaner if it has visible damage or if the power supply is defective.
- Only use the enclosed mains adapter to charge the batteries of the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- The handheld vacuum cleaner or the rechargeable battery may only be supplied with safety extra-low voltage (SELV) in accordance with the information on the type plate.
- The power cable of the power supply cannot be replaced. Dispose of the power supply if it is damaged and replace it with a power supply of the same type.
- Under no circumstances should you open the casing of the handheld vacuum cleaner. Instead, have repairs carried out by an expert. To this end you should use a specialist workshop.
- In the case of repairs performed independently, improper connection or incorrect operation, liability and warranty claims are excluded. In case of repairs, only parts that comply with the original device specifications may be used. This handheld vacuum cleaner contains electrical and mechanical parts that are essential in protecting against potential hazards.
- Do not immerse the handheld vacuum cleaner or the power supply in water or other liquids.
- Never touch the mains plug with wet hands.
- Never pull the power supply from the socket by the power cable, but rather always grip the plug itself.
- Never use the power cable as a carry handle.
- Keep the handheld vacuum cleaner and the power supply away from open fire and hot surfaces.
- Run the power cable in such a way that it does not present a tripping hazard.
- Do not kink the power cable and do not run it over sharp edges.
- Only use the handheld vacuum cleaner indoors. Never operate it in wet rooms or in the rain.
- Never store the handheld vacuum cleaner as such that it could fall into a bathtub or washbasin.
- Ensure that children cannot insert objects into the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- Do not leave the handheld vacuum cleaner unattended during use.
- If you are not using the handheld vacuum cleaner, if you are cleaning it or should a fault occur, switch the handheld vacuum cleaner immediately and remove the power plug from the socket.
- Do not use the handheld vacuum cleaner with wet hands, if you are standing on a wet floor or if the handheld vacuum cleaner itself is wet.
- Do not suck up liquids with the handheld vacuum cleaner.

- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
- Keep children younger than eight away from the handheld vacuum cleaner and the power supply.
- Do not allow children to play with the packaging film.
- Children could become entangled or suffocate when playing.

RISK OF EXPLOSION AND CHEMICAL BURNS!
The handheld vacuum cleaner contains a replaceable Li-ion battery. There is a risk of explosion if batteries and accumulators are not handled correctly. In case of contact with leaking battery acid, chemical burns may occur. Avoid short-circuiting the battery contacts.
- Do not heat the battery and never throw it into an open fire.
- Avoid battery acid from coming into contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In case of contact with battery acid, rinse the affected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and if necessary consult a doctor.

In the event of the improper handling of the handheld vacuum cleaner, you may injure yourself or others.
- Do not point the handheld vacuum cleaner at people or animals.
- Keep hair or loose items of clothing away from the openings of the handheld vacuum cleaner. The handheld vacuum cleaner sucks in air during operation and may injure you if your hair or loose clothing were sucked in.
- Do not use the handheld vacuum cleaner on surfaces that are covered with cement or other fine substances, or substances that are toxic when inhaled.

The improper handling of the handheld vacuum cleaner may result in damage to the handheld vacuum cleaner itself.
- Only use the handheld vacuum cleaner when all filters are correctly inserted.
- Do not cover the air vents on the handheld vacuum cleaner during operation.
- Keep the handheld vacuum cleaner and the power supply away from hot surfaces.
- Never expose the handheld vacuum cleaner to high temperature (heating units etc.) or weather (rain etc.).
- Never pour liquid into the casing of the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- Cease use of the handheld vacuum cleaner if the plastic components have cracks or fissures or have deformed. Only replace damaged parts with suitable original replacement parts.
Before using for the first time
NOTE!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
If you open the packaging carelessly with a sharp knife or other pointed objects, the handheld vacuum cleaner may be damaged.
- Open the packaging carefully.
- Remove the handheld vacuum cleaner from the packaging.
- Check that the delivery is complete.
- Check whether the handheld vacuum cleaner or the individual parts show any damage. If this is the case, do not use the handheld vacuum cleaner. Contact the service address given in the Customer Service section.
Prepare charging devices
Table charging base
- Position the charging base 22 on the charging foot 23 until you hear a ,,click”. (see fig. B) For additional security, you can turn the connected parts over and secure the charging base with 4 screws.
- Insert the mains plug 3 into the hole provided on the underside of the charging base and guide the cable through the recesses.
- Place the charging base near a properly installed socket.
- Plug the mains adapter 2 into a properly installed socket.
Wall charging station
- Attach the fastening ring 28 to the wall charging station 27 (fig. H).
- Screw or attach the wall charging station 27 near a properly installed socket.
- Insert the mains plug 3 into the hole provided on the underside of the wall bracket.
- Plug the mains adapter 2 into a properly installed socket.
Storage station with charging function
- Insert the metal tube 30 into the corresponding hole in the base plate 31. Make sure that the attached holders for the cables are aligned at the bottom, otherwise the storage unit cannot be plugged in correctly. (fig. G)
- Place the storage unit 29 on the metal tube 30 with the holder for the main unit facing forwards and the holder for the battery facing backwards.
- Insert the mains plug 3 into the hole provided on the back of the storage unit 29. You can secure the cable with the brackets on the back of the metal tube 30.
Charging the battery
You have the choice of charging the battery in the machine, removing it for charging or using a charging station. Make sure that the handheld vacuum cleaner is switched off for charging.
Option 1 (without charging station)
- Insert the mains plug 3 into the charging socket 1 at the top of the battery.
- The battery 4 can remain in the mains unit or be removed for the charging process.
Option 2 (wall charging station)
- Hang the handheld vacuum cleaner in the charging station 27 so that the charging contact is established. (Fig. H)
Option 3 (table charging station)
- Place the handheld vacuum cleaner in the charging base 22 so that the charging contact is established. (Fig. C)
- In addition, you can place another battery 4 in the charging slot provided and charge it there.
Option 4 (storage station with charging function)
- Hang the handheld vacuum cleaner from above into the round receptacle on the right-hand side so that the charging contact is established. (Fig. I)
- In addition, you can insert another battery 4 into the charging slot provided on the back of the storage unit and charge it there.
♦ When you are on the road, you can also charge the unit with the optional car adapter 14. To do this, connect the car adapter 14 to the charging socket 1 at the top end of the battery 4 and to a functioning 12 V connection in your car, caravan or similar.
♦ The battery 4 must be fully charged before it is used for the first time.
Charging/display at a glance
Charging the battery in the handset
- The LED indicators on the battery and the on/off switch pulsate during charging.
- When the battery 4 is fully charged, the LEDs light up continuously.
Charging the battery outside the handset or in the charging bays
- The LED display on battery 4 pulses during the charging process.
- When the battery 4 is fully charged, the LEDs light up continuously.
Using the handheld vacuum cleaner
WARNING!
RISK OF EXPLOSION!
Liquids can form explosive vapours or mixtures by swirling with the suction air of the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- Never suck up liquids with the handheld vacuum cleaner.
WARNING!
FIRE HAZARD!
If you vacuum glowing ashes, burning cigarettes or similar with the handheld vacuum cleaner, the filters may catch fire.
- Do not vacuum glowing or smouldering materials or objects.
NOTE!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
Improper handling of the handheld vacuum cleaner can cause damage to it.
- Do not vacuum sharp particles.
- Do not vacuum coarse particles (e.g. cement, stones, plaster or wood).
- Make sure that the filters are correctly inserted and undamaged before switching on the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- Do not cover the ventilation openings during operation.
- Switch off the handheld vacuum cleaner immediately if you have accidentally sucked up any liquid.
Use
- You can either insert one of the available attachments (brushes, crevice nozzle or similar) into the suction opening or use the handheld vacuum cleaner without any attachments.
- To switch on and off, press the on/off switch. a. Press once the unit switches on in standard mode the LEDs light up white. b. Press 2 times the unit switches to boost mode (more suction power) the LEDs light up blue c. Press 3 times the unit switches off the LEDs go out
- The light indicators in the on/off switch provide information about the remaining capacity of the battery.
Storage
Store the handheld vacuum cleaner in a dry place and protect it from excessive heat or direct sunlight. If the manual vacuum cleaner is stored unused for a long time, please remove the battery.
Wall storage
- Slide the fixing ring 28 and the retaining elements into the base from above.
- Screw or stick the wall bracket 26 to a wall to store your handset and accessories as you wish. (Fig. F)
Table charging station
- This provides storage for the main unit, spare battery and 3 small brush attachments. (Fig. C)
Storage station with charging function
- See section “Preparing charging facilities” for assembly instructions.
- The storage station provides storage for the main unit, the spare battery and a variety of other accessories. (Fig. I)
Emptying the dust container
- Switch off the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- Hold the handheld vacuum cleaner with the suction opening 10 facing downwards over a waste container.
- Press the release button 25 (see Fig. D).
- Fold the suction opening 10 backwards and empty the dust container 9.
- Turn the dust container 9 anticlockwise and remove the dirt residues from the dust container 9 and from the metal filter 8.
- Put the dust container 9 back on the handheld vacuum cleaner and turn it clockwise.
- Close the suction opening 10 again. The suction opening 10 is properly engaged when you hear a click.
Remove metal filter and Hepa filter
NOTE!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
Improper handling of the handheld vacuum cleaner can cause damage to it.
- Clean the Hepa filter regularly, especially after sucking in fine dirt, such as flour or coffee.
- Switch off the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- Remove the dust bin 9 (see section ,,Emptying the dust bin”).
- Remove the metal filter 8 by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Remove the hepa filter 7 by pulling it out of the metalfilter with a finger (see Fig. E).
- Clean the filters (see section ,,Cleaning”).
- Put the Hepa filter 7 back into the metal filter 8.
- Put the metal filter 8 back on the handheld vacuum cleaner and turn it clockwise to tighten.
- Put the dust container 9 back on the handheld vacuum cleaner and turn it clockwise until it clicks into place.
Change the Hepa filter at an interval of approx. 6 months.
Cleaning and user maintenance
NOTE!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
Improper handling of the handheld vacuum cleaner can cause damage to it.
- Never immerse the handheld vacuum cleaner in water for cleaning and do not use a steam cleaner for cleaning.
- Make sure that no liquid gets into the motor unit.
- Make sure that all parts, especially the filters, are completely dry before reassembling the handheld vacuum cleaner after cleaning.
- Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, brushes with metal or nylon bristles or sharp or metallic cleaning objects such as knives, hard spatulas and the like. These may damage the surfaces.
- Switch off the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- Hold the handheld vacuum cleaner with the suction opening 10 facing downwards over a waste container.
- Remove the dust container 9 by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Emptying the dust container 9.
- Wipe out the dust bin 9 with a damp cloth.
- Detach the metal filter 8 from the handheld vacuum cleaner by turning it anti-clockwise.
- Remove the hepa filter 7.
- Wipe the metal filter 8 with a damp cloth or clean it under running water if necessary.
- Clean the Hepa filter 7 with a soft brush or tap it out.
- Wipe the outside of the handheld vacuum cleaner with a dry cloth.
- Allow all parts to dry completely before reassembling the handheld vacuum cleaner after cleaning.
- Put the hepa filter 7 back into the metal filter 8.
- Put the metal filter 8 back on the handheld vacuum cleaner and turn it clockwise to tighten.
- Place the dust container 9 back on the handheld vacuum cleaner and turn it clockwise to tighten.
Clean all parts of the handheld vacuum cleaner regularly to avoid clogging and to ensure its functionality.
Changing the battery
- Switch off the handheld vacuum cleaner.
- Remove the battery 4 by pressing the release with two fingers and pulling the battery 4 out of the unit. (Fig. L)
- Insert the new battery
- Make sure that it clicks audibly into place. If the battery 4 cannot be pushed in completely, check for correct positioning.
Cleaning the motorised brushes
NOTE!
RISK OF DAMAGE!
The housings of the motorised electric brush and the mini electric brushes can be cleaned with a damp cloth. DO NOT clean under running water because of the integrated motor.
Cleaning the mini electric brush 18 (Fig. J)
- Loosen the attachment on the side of the brush by turning it anticlockwise.
- The attachment automatically slides out of the brush housing a little.
- Remove the brush roll.
- Remove any dirt from the brush roll. Rinse under running water if necessary.
- Allow the brush roll to dry completely before reinserting it.
- Put the brush roll back into the housing. Make sure that the positioning is correct.
- Turn the attachment clockwise until it is level with the housing again.
Cleaning the motorised electric brush 17 (Fig. K)
- Loosen the fastener on the underside of the brush and remove the fastener.
- Remove the brush roll in the direction of the arrow.
- Remove any dirt from the brush roll. Rinse under running water if necessary.
- Allow the brush roll to dry completely before reinserting it.
- Put the brush roll back into the housing. Make sure that the positioning is correct.
Troubleshooting
Disposal
(Applicable in the European Union and other European states with systems for the separate collection of waste and recyclables)
Old devices must not be disposed of in the household waste!
If the handheld vacuum cleaner can no longer be used, then every consumer is
obligated to dispose of old devices separately from the household waste, e.g.
at a collection point within your municipality/district. This ensures that old
devices are properly recycled and negative effects on the environment are
avoided. For this reason, electrical devices are marked with the symbol shown
here.
Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of in the household
waste!
As consumers you are legally obliged to drop off all batteries and
accumulators, regardless of whether or not they contain harmful substances,
within your municipality/district or one made available within a
store/business, in order that they can be disposed of in an environmentally-
friendly manner. Drop of the complete handheld vacuum cleaner at your
collection point (with the battery) and only in discharged condition!

By disposing of your device properly you are also contributing to the protection of the environment and the health of your fellow citizens. Material recycling helps to reduce the consumption of raw materials. Further information regarding the disposal and recycling of this device can be obtained from municipal waste management companies, the store in which you purchased the product or from the manufacturer.
Technical Specifications
Minor deviations and changes in design and colour are due to technical reasons and are no reason for a complaint.
