WEARING

Choose the Ear Tips that fit your ears best and take a fit test in the Soundcore app to ensure you get the best ANC performance.

POWERING ON & PAIRING

Open the charging case, the earbuds will automatically power on and enter Bluetooth pairing mode. Select “Soundcore Space A40” from your device’s Bluetooth list when connecting for the first time.

APP

Download the Soundcore app to enhance your experience
(Ambient Sound modes, adaptive noise control, HearID Sound, equalizer tuning, custom controls, firmware update, and more).

CHARGING

Fully dry off the earbuds and the USB-C charging port before charging. For wireless charging, position the charging case at the center of your wireless charger.

MULTIPOINT CONNECTION

The earbuds can connect with two devices at the same time so you can switch between them effortlessly. To pair with another device, wear the earbuds, then press and hold the touchpad on both earbuds for 3 seconds simultaneously. Select “Soundcore Space A40” from your device’s Bluetooth list to connect.

MANUAL PAIRING

To manually enter Bluetooth pairing mode, place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Then press and hold the button on the charging case for 3 seconds until the LED indicators flash white in sequence continuously.

NOISE CANCELLATION

To reduce unwanted ambient noise, select a noise cancellation mode in the Soundcore app.

• Adaptive Mode: Automatically switch to the most suitable noise-canceling equalizer for different user scenarios.
• Manual Mode: Set the level of noise cancellation manually.

LDAC

Use devices powered by Android 8.0 or later to experience LDAC-quality sound.

CONTROLS

To stay aware of your surroundings while listening to music, select a transparency mode in the Soundcore app.

POWERING OFF

Return the earbuds to the charging case and close the case.

RESET

Place the earbuds in the charging case and leave the case open. Then press and hold the button on the case for 10 seconds until the LED indicators on the case flash white 3 times and then flash in sequence.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will they stay in if you sleep with them in?

I have had them fall out but for the most part, they stay in.

Do the earbuds have lights that activate during usage?

No lights on the earbuds that I can see.

Can you listen using just 1 of the earbuds?

Yes, you can...either the left or right, and you can even share the unused one with someone else.

Why are these less expensive than the Liberty Air 2 Pro?

Yes, and they're better overall. They're more comfortable because they're WAY smaller. The only area the pro is better is it has dual drivers so for certain music it can have a little more range. But as I said for money, comfort, and battery, sound great, I'd go with these.

Is there latency when gaming or watching movies on the tv?

I think it’s minimal. There are YouTube reviews that cover latency in some depth.

What are the tips made of?

They feel like a silicone-type substance. They were okay but I upgraded to memory foam ones, which are more comfortable and block ambient sound better.

How many different size inserts?

Six different size inserts including the ones it came with.

Do these earbuds have Qi charging?

It has a fast charging of 10 minutes and gives you 4 hours approximately but in my own testing, I had different results. Sometimes it would last way less than 4 hours.

Can i use this earpods with iphone?

Yes. They are great earbuds (better than Apple's or Beats) and work fine with the iPhone.

For iPhone users can you say hey Siri to bring up Siri?

Yes, holding the touch sensor for a couple of seconds to activate the voice assistant.

Can you turn off anc? Would that be the normal mode? If not, what is normal mode?

Selecting normal mode will turn off the noise cancellation and ambient mode, each mode produces a different sound, NC mode gives the bass a slight boost, and the transparent mode raises the treble which focuses more on the highs, normal mode is a basic sound, that requires your preference for EQ adjustments, also, the normal mode is less draining on your battery, but just solely on sound alone noise cancellation sounds the best, and yes, normal mode will turn it off.

Do they have in-ear detection?

Yes, they have in-ear detection but it takes about 10 seconds to pause whatever you may be listening to. For example, when I take them out while watching YouTube the video still plays for a very little bit before it pauses, it's a bit annoying but definitely not a deal breaker. And I'm pretty sure it's less than 10 seconds I'm reality, it's just not instant like when I used galaxy buds 2.

Has anyone used these in a motorcycle helmet yet?

They can be used for white noise or whatever audio selections your paired device can provide, but only as a listening device.

How is the ANC for the microphone?

Apparently they do have a microphone, but I have not used it. The over all quality of the Anker earbuds is very good and I would guess that includes the microphone.
