ALL-O-MATIC AOM-RED EYE Photoelectric Sensor

The AOM-RED EYE is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for various applications. It features a visible red class2 laser beam for easy alignment with the reflector, excellent optical performance with a sensing range of up to 55 feet (100 feet with optional reflector), and a non-sphere optical lens that eliminates stray light and interference from other light sources. The sensor also has a red LED indicator for easy installation and diagnosis, as well as options for LIGHT ON/DARK ON settings. It is UL325 compliant and has a protection grade of IP65.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the AOM-RED EYE sensor, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure that the sensor is properly connected to a power supply of 10-30VDC.
  2. Choose the desired action mode (Light ON/Dark ON) by adjusting the potentiometer.
  3. Align the sensor with the reflector using the visible red class2 laser beam for accurate aiming.
  4. Make sure there are no obstructions between the sensor and the detection object.
  5. For UL 325 monitored function, set the sensor to LIGHT ON mode.
  6. Refer to the wiring diagram provided in the user manual to connect the sensor to the appropriate device or board.
  7. Verify the working status of the sensor using the red LED indicator.
  8. Ensure that the ambient light conditions (sunlight, incandescent lamp) are within the specified range.
  9. Observe the recommended ambient temperature and humidity range for optimal performance.
  10. Take necessary precautions to protect the sensor from overvoltage, overcurrent, and reverse polarity.
