Product Usage Instructions

  1. Thread the pendant cord through the Strain Relief (E), Canopy (D), and Crossbar Assembly (B) in that order. Take care not to snag the cord on these items. Adjust the cord length by tying a safety knot as shown. If the cord is too long, cut it to the desired length and strip the outer jacket and individual wires. Loosely coil any extra cord inside the J-Box.
  2. Securely fasten the Crossbar Assembly (B) to the J-Box using the J-Box Screws (C).
  3. Using the Lever Nuts (A), connect the pendant wires to the 120VAC power. If there is a Ground Wire present in the J-Box, attach it to the Crossbar Assembly (B) using the green Ground Screw.
  4. Slide the Canopy (D) and Strain Relief (E) up to the Crossbar Assembly (B) without snagging the cord. Thread the Strain Relief onto the remaining length of the threaded nipple until the Canopy is flush to the ceiling and the Strain Relief is finger-tight. If the threaded nipple is too long, loosen the hex nut and thread the nipple further up into the Crossbar Assembly, then tighten the hex nut.
  5. Push the pendant cord upward into the Canopy (D) slightly and tighten the set screw in the Strain Relief (E).
  6. Finally, restore power to the circuit.
