Product Information

The Hawk Gimbal Support Rig is a handheld camera stabilizer designed to provide stability and balance to your camera while shooting. It features a vest jacket and dual shoulder arms with adjustable rods that can support a payload of 8-12kg/ 17-26lb and hold of 14Kg/30lb at the lock area. The rig also comes with a dual rod system that removes the X & Y axis frictions for overall stability and balance.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Inspect the contents of your shipped package to ensure you have received everything as listed above.
2. Wear the vest jacket and buckle up from the waist. Adjust the vest around your waist via the provided strap. Fasten the buckle around your chest to adjust the vest. Use the strap to tighten or loosen the chest Velcro as per your comfort. Similarly, follow the same procedure to adjust the vest area with the help of the strap. Now, loosen the vest rod knob. Adjust the rod per your requirement, then tighten using the provided knob.
3. Attach the left arm with the rod by inserting it into the hole of the rod. Tighten the ring of the left arm to properly secure it, and loosen the bolt of the power arm using the Allen Key. Now, set the length of the rod and secure the position by tightening the bolt of the power arm using the Allen Key. Similarly, follow the same instruction to assemble the right shoulder arm. Insert the left arm into the jacket as shown in the image and repeat the same process for the right arm.
4. Loosen the locking knob of the arms to set them as required, and then tighten the locking knob. Attach the right arm’s hook with the Velcro of the Handheld Gimbal (Not Included) and repeat the same with the left arm. Now, the Handheld Gimbal (Not Included) is correctly attached to the arms. Remove the quick-release plate from the Handheld Gimbal (Not Included) by loosening the knob.
5. Slide the Gimble to attach it to the Handheld Gimbal (Not Included) and tighten the knob to secure it. Push the provided pin on the Gimble plate and remove it to attach it to the camera (Not Included). Secure the Gimble plate with the camera (Not Included) by tightening with the provided bolt using a screwdriver. Attach the Camera (Not Included) with the Gimbal (Not Included) and pull the lock lever to secure it. The Gimbal (Not Included) has been properly attached to the camera (Not Included).
6. The Hawk Gimbal Support Rig provides stability and balance during handheld shooting. It offers you more stability and control over your 2 Axis Gimbals. Different angles can be achieved during wide turning & height range.

Hawk Gimbal Support Setup

• Wear the vest jacket and buckle up from the waist.

• Adjust the vest around your waist via the provided strap.

• Fasten the buckle around your chest to adjust the vest.
  NOTE: Adjustable waist is supported by Velcro straps and Push-fit buckles, making it a comfortable fit for all body types.

• Use the strap to tighten or loosen the chest Velcro as per your comfort.

• Similarly, follow the same procedure to adjust the vest area with the help of the strap.

• Now, Loosen the vest rod knob.
  NOTE: It has an adjustable vest rod with a ratchet knob.

• Adjust the rod per your requirement, then tighten using the provided knob.

• Attach the left arm with the rod by inserting it into the hole of the rod.

• Tighten the ring of the left arm to properly secure it, and loosen the bolt of the power arm using the Allen Key.

• Now, set the length of the rod and secure the position by tightening the bolt of the power arm using the Allen Key.

• Similarly, follow the same instruction to assemble the right shoulder arm.

• Insert the left arm into the jacket as shown in the image and repeat the same process for the right arm.

• Both arms will look like this, as shown in the image.
  NOTE: There is a locked area on the top Position power arms to support a payload of 8-12kg/ 17-26lb and hold of 14Kg/30lb at the lock area.

• Now, loosen the locking knob of the arms to set them as required, and then tighten the locking knob.
  NOTE: The rig offers you more stability and control over your 2 Axis Gimbals during handheld shooting and the dual rod system removes the X & Y axis frictions for overall stability and balance.

• Attach the right arm’s hook with the Velcro of the Handheld Gimbal (Not Included) and repeat the same with the left arm.

• Now, the Handheld Gimbal (Not Included) is correctly attached to the arms.

• Remove the quick-release plate from the Handheld Gimbal (Not Included) by loosening the knob.

• Now, slide the Gimble to attach it to the Handheld Gimbal (Not Included) and tighten the knob to secure it.

• Push the provided pin on the Gimble plate and remove it to attach it to the camera (Not Included).

• Secure the Gimble plate with the camera (Not Included) by tightening with the provided bolt using a screwdriver.

• Attach the Camera (Not Included) with the Gimbal (Not Included) and pull the lock lever to secure it.

• The Gimbal (Not Included) has been properly attached to the camera (Not Included).
