Product Information
The product is a thermostatic shower mixer system with the model name Ecostat 1001 SL and three different variations with model numbers 13266000/13278000, 13261XXX, and 13241XXX. Product Usage Instructions
Safety Notes
- Gloves should be worn during installation to prevent crushing and cutting injuries.
- The shower system may only be used for bathing, hygienic, and body cleansing purposes.
- Children as well as adults with physical, mental, and/or sensoric impairments must not use this shower system without proper supervision.
- Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are prohibited from using this shower system.
- The hot and cold supplies must be of equal pressure.
Installation Instructions
The fitting must be installed, flushed and tested after the valid norms. The
thermostatic mixer can be used in conjunction with combination boilers. The
recommended operating pressure is 1.6MPa with a test pressure of (1 MPa = 10
bar = 147 PSI). The hot water temperature is recommended to have an anti-
pollution function. Do not use silicone-containing acetic acid. After the
installation, the output temperature of the thermostat must be checked. A
correction is necessary if the temperature measured at the output differs from
the temperature set on the thermostat.
Maintenance
The product comes with a safety function, and ECOSTOP feature, and requires
adjustment after installation. The maintenance instructions include checking
the output temperature of the thermostat, cleaning the dirt strainers
(96922000), and cleaning the sieve seal of the showerhead. The product also
comes with a flow diagram for shower and bathtub use. If the check valve is
blocked, it needs to be replaced.

Thermostatic mixer in conjunction with combination boilers
- If fitting a hand shower remove the water limiter from the shower.
- If the continuous water heater causes any problems, or you have different water pressures you must install a water limiter to the cold supply, (ordered separately,article number 97510000).
- Thermostatic mixer Shower: When using the Ecostat with combination boilers, the Ecostop safety set 95042000 has to be removed.

Safety Function
The desired maximum temperature for example max. 42º C can be pre-set thanks to the safety function.
Adjustment
After the installation, the output temperature of the thermostat must be checked. A correction is necessary if the temperature measured at the output differs from the temperature set on the thermostat.

Maintenance
- To guarantee the smooth running of the thermostat, it is necessary from time to time to turn the thermostat from total hot to total cold.
- The mixer is equipped with nonreturn valves. The non-return valves must be checked regularly according to DIN EN 1717 in accordance with national or regional regulations (at least once a year).
