Taiyo Yuden EYSRSN Bluetooth Low Energy Module
Since this module is not sold to general end users directly, there is no user
manual of module. For the details about this module, please refer to the
specification sheet of module. This module should be installed in the host
device according to the interface specification (installation procedure).
The following information must be indicated on the host device of this module;
Japan Regulatory Information
- This Product is a radio system and obtained certification of construction type combined with the specific antenna.
- Please ensure that your product has a label with the following certification mark at the easily viewable location. If your product is too small to have the label, please place it in the instruction manual and package of your product. In case your product does not have the label with the following certification mark, you or your customer who uses your product may be against the Radio Law and subjected to criminal punishment. TAIYO YUDEN shall not be liable for any loss or damage incurred by you or your customer arising from use of your product that does not have the following certification mark. Canada Regulatory Information
- This device complies with Industry Canada’s applicable license-exempt RSS.
- This device may not cause interference; and
- This device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation of the device.
- This product is certified as a type of a portable device with Industry Canada Rules. To maintain compliance with the RF Exposure requirement, please use within the specification of this product and have a separation distance of minimum of 15 mm between the user and/or bystander and the antenna and /or radiating element. This distance ensures that the output power (e.i.r.p.) of EYSRSN is below the SAR evaluation Exemption limits defined in RSS-102 issue 5.

FCC Regulatory Information
- This device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules.
- Part 15 Subpart C
- Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
- Please notify certified ID by either one of the following methods on your product.

- Since there is no space that indicates FCC ID on this module, FCC ID is indicated in a manual. If the FCC ID is not visible when the module is installed inside another device, then the module is installed and must also display a label referring to the enclosed module.
- CAUTION: Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the use’s authority to operate the equipment.
- The modular transmitter is only FCC authorized for the specific rule parts (i.e., FCC transmitter rules) listed on the grant, and the host product manufacturer is responsible for compliance to any other FCC rules that apply to the host not covered by the modular transmitter grant of certification. The final host product still requires Part 15 Subpart B compliance testing with the modular transmitter installed.
- This product is certified as a type of a portable device with FCC Rules. To maintain compliance with RF Exposure requirements, please use within the specification of this product.
- The antenna used for this transmitter must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter.
The module installer shall integrate the module within the range (including output power) under which the module is certified, by means of application software depending on the circumstances. The module installer must follow the integration instructions provided by Taiyo Yuden and ensure that the end product complies with the FCC requirements. Any end user cannot change the output power. The test software is developed by TAIYO YUDEN, and during regulatory testing, the output power is set to maximum power..
NOTE:
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class
B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are
designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a
residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the
instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However,
there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular
installation.If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or
television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and
on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more
of the following measures:
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
- Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help

- When your end product installs this module, it is required to proceed additional certification processes before placing on the market in EU member states to make your products fully comply with relative EU standards.
- TAIYO YUDEN can provide you with the test reports of conducted measurement portion for the radio module. You can utilize the test reports for the certification processes of your end product as it requires radio testing.
