CAUTION
- It is strongly recommended that the hardwire installation of this product is done by a professional.
- Read these safety instructions entirely prior to installation.
- DO NOT BEGIN INSTALLATION UNTIL ALL ELECTRICAL POWER TO THE INSTALLATION SITE HAS BEEN TURNED OFF AT THE CIRCUIT BREAKER!
Recommended Tools and Materials
- Screwdriver
- Wire cutter

A. Orikata shade
B. Mounting plate
C. 8-32 Mounting Screws (2)
D. Wire Nuts (2)
CAUTION: Use an LED lightbulb (not included) to avoid product damage.
Recommended bulbs can be purchased on

- Turn off the power to the installation site at the circuit breaker.
- Use wire cutters to trim back approximately 3/4” of the insulation on the two wires connected to the mount socket.
- Cover the end of the bare ground wire with a wire nut.
- Connect the mounting plate wires to the junction box wires using the provided wire nuts.
- Attach the mounting plate to the junction box with the two included 8-32 screws with your screwdriver.
- Align the shade opening with the mounting plate and rotate slowly with upward pressure until the magnets engage.
- Restore power to the breaker.
