OVERVIEW

  •  XLR-output Bluetooth audio receiver for mixers and active PA speakers
  • Connects smartphones & laptop to audio broadcast systems via Bluetooth to amplify music or other audio
  • The P3 set includes one P3 Bluetooth audio receiver for mono audio
  • The P3D set includes two P3 Bluetooth audio receivers for dual mono or stereo audio. Two P3 units can be linked in order to receive a stereo signal
  • Internal rechargeable battery provides 6 hours of operation
  • USB Type-C port for charging via any 5V USB power source
  • Stable connectivity over a 100 ft range (line-of-sight without obstacles). Gives you ample coverage for parties, events and weddings

LED ACTIVITY

The Charging LED illuminates whenever P3 is connected to USB power. It’s solid red when the unit is charging, and turns to solid green when the unit is fully charged.

The Power and Battery Status LED illuminates whenever P3 is powered on. When battery strength is above 31%, the LED will be solid red. When battery strength is less than 30%, it will ash every three seconds. When the battery strength is less than 5%, it will ash every 0.5 seconds, indicating that the unit needs to be recharged.

PAIRING WITH P3

  1. Power on your P3 device.
  2. The system will automatically search for Bluetooth sources when powered on; but you can press and hold the Pair button for 3 seconds to activate—the Bluetooth LED will ash when P3 is in pairing mode.
  3. On your smartphone or tablet, turn on Bluetooth, nd “P3” in the devices list, and connect to it.
  4. When paired successfully, a conrmation tone will sound and the blue Bluetooth LED will illuminate.
  5. Adjust the volume as desired on your smartphone/tablet and mixer.

STEREOLINKING TWO P3 UNITS

  1. Follow steps 1-5 in “PAIRING WITH P3”.
  2. Press and hold the Stereo-Link button for 3 seconds on the primary (left channel) P3. Press and hold the Stereo-Link button for 3 seconds on the secondary (right channel) P3.
  3. Both Stereo-Link LEDs will ash while the P3 units search for each other.
  4. When they are successfully linked, each P3 will produce a confirmation tone and the Stereo-Link LEDs on both units will be on.

NOTE: Before pairing, ensure that there are no wi devices (such as wireless routers) in the area.

NOTE: If the connection is not successful, please wait for the connection, or reset the P3 power and smartphone Bluetooth function before trying to connect again.

NOTE: When wirelessly connected to a single loudspeaker, the left and right audio signals will be summed to mono.

NOTE: When a battery is not available, the P3 can be powered by a regular 5V USB adapter.

P3 TROUBLESHOOTING

BLUETOOTH LED/STEREO LINK LED IS FLASHING

  • P3 is searching for a Bluetooth device; pair with a smartphone or computer following the “PAIRING WITH P3” instructions.
  • The device could be outside the working range of the Bluetooth connection. Bring the P3 and smartphone/laptop closer together; when within range, connection should happen automatically.

BLUETOOTH LED/STEREO LINK LED IS OFF

  • Pairing is unsuccessful. Check the directions in “PAIRING WITH P3” and make sure the devices are not too far apart.
    The connected devices must remain within working range during use in order for the connection to remain stable.

SMARTPHONE/COMPUTER ALWAYS SEARCHING, CANNOT PAIR

  • Wait for the Bluetooth connection to be made
  • Turn o the power and turn it on again

VOLUME TOO LOW / NO SOUND

  • Turn up the volume on your smartphone/pad/computer
  • Turn up the volume on the mixer or connected device

WARNING TONE

  • A tone will sound when Bluetooth is successfully connected or disconnected
  • When Bluetooth is searching there is no warning tone

CANNOT CHARGE / NOT WORKING

  • Check charger connections to the P3 and power source
  • Contact Xvive for warranty support

  • Only charge rechargeable batteries with chargers recommended by Xvive.
  • Observe correct polarity.
  • Pack/store charged rechargeable batteries so that the terminals cannot contact each other (danger of shorting out/re hazard).

  • Switch rechargeable battery-powered products o after use.
  • Only charge rechargeable batteries at ambient temperatures between 10°C/50°F and 40°C/104°F.
  • When not using rechargeable batteries for extended periods of time, charge them regularly (about every three months).
  • Do not mutilate or dismantle.
  • Do not heat above 60°C/140°F, e.g. do not expose to sunlight or throw into a re.
  • Immediately remove rechargeable batteries from obviously defective products.
  • Do not continue to use defective rechargeable batteries.

  • Dispose of rechargeable batteries at special collection points or return them to your specialist dealer.
