MTI 276 New Yorker 13 Bath Tub
Product Information
The Designer Collection Tubs – New Yorker 13 model 276, is a luxury bathtub
made of Acrylic CXLTM with DoloMatteTM finish. It measures 66 inches in
length, 36 inches in width, and 22.25 inches in height. The tub has a capacity
of 80 gallons to overflow and weighs between 75 lbs to 106 lbs depending on
the hydrotherapy package selected. The tub can be installed as a DROP-IN or
UNDERMOUNT, but it is not recommended as a tub/shower combination.
It complies with ANSI Z124.1-1995 and is CSA Certified C/US. The tub comes
with numbered locations on the deck to represent possible stub-out locations
for cleaning systems and valves.
Product Usage Instructions
Before using the Designer Collection Tubs – New Yorker 13 model 276, it is
important to note that filling the tub to the maximum may require an above-
average size or dedicated water heater. Also, air baths and tubs with a pre-
leveled foam base or frame system add 2-3 inches to the overall tub height.
The tub comes with different hydrotherapy packages that include Standard
Whirlpool, Ultra Whirlpool, Microbubbles, Air Massage, Air Massage Elite,
Stream Bath, Stream Bath with Air Massage, Stream
Bath with Air Massage Elite, Microbubbles with Air Massage, Microbubbles with
Air Massage Elite, Air with Whirlpool, Air with Ultra Whirlpool, Air Elite
with Whirlpool, Air Elite with Ultra Whirlpool, and Air Massage w/ Stream
Bath.
When selecting the hydrotherapy package, it is important to check the
electrical components and specifications as it may change with the addition of
optional therapy components. Each hydrotherapy package requires specific
electrical requirements that range from 1-20 amps and 110V to 2-20 amp. The
tub complies with CSA Certified C/US; B45.5/IAPMO ANSI Z124.1 and ANSI
112.19.7 standards.

IMPORTANT ORDERING & INSTALLATION INFORMATION
- Before ordering or installing, please consider future access to equipment.
- Add proper bedding compound to fully level and support bottom of tub.
- When equipped with an air bath package, pre-leveled foam base or frame system, overall tub height is increased by approx. 2-3” and is designed to install on a flat, level subfloor.
- Radiance placed on airbath floor will affect placement of air jets.
- System components may extend beyond the perimeter of deck.
- Please measure tub on-site before building tub decking.
- Advise MTI when planning to use a glass enclosure.
- Relocation of controls may be necessary.
- Suction and control locations may vary.
- All tubs are compliant with ASTM C 1028-07 coefficient of friction. DoloMatte meets ANSI A137.1/A326.3 coefficient of friction and AS HB198:2014 slip tests.
