Product Information

The Water Alarm is a device that warns you of water leaks and potential flooding. It operates using a 9V battery and has metal pads that detect the presence of water and sound an audible alarm. The device is designed to be waterproof and can be placed in areas where water leaks are likely to occur, such as under sinks, washing machines, and water heaters. The product comes with a limited warranty from Glentronics, Inc.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the battery cover.
  2. Pull the wires out and snap the 9V battery onto the connector.
  3. Place the battery back in the compartment.
  4. To ensure waterproof closure of the battery cover, please be sure to insert the bottom of the battery cover into the unit, close the top, and tighten the screw.
  5. Testing the Water Alarm: After installing the battery, make sure to test the water alarm by touching any two adjacent metal pads with your fingers. An audible alarm will sound as long as you keep both fingers on the metal pads. We recommend testing the water alarm every 6 months to ensure the battery is still good, and replacing the battery as needed.
  6. Positioning the Water Alarm: Place the water alarm anywhere there is a risk of water leak such as under a sink, washing machine or water heater. It can be placed on any side and will still clearly sound an alarm when water is present.
  7. Replacing the Battery: Replace the 9V battery if the alarm has operated for an extended period of time or if the battery expiration date is approaching. You may want to mark the battery expiration date on a piece of tape and attach it to the water alarm when you install the battery.

If you have any further questions or concerns about the product, please contact Glentronics, Inc. at 800-991-0466.

The In-Touch 360˚ Water Alarm has a patented design which allows it to detect water and sound an alarm when placed on any side. The In-Touch 360˚ Water Alarm is waterproof and can be completely submerged in water.

Installing the Battery

The In-Touch 360˚ Water Alarm is battery operated and does not need to be plugged into an outlet. You will need a Philips screwdriver, flat-head screwdriver, and a new 9V battery. Using a Philips screwdriver, remove the screw in the battery cover located on the side of the water alarm.

  • Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the battery cover.
  • Pull the wires out and snap the 9V battery onto the connector.
