The SnapRig Universal DSLR Camera Cage Rig is a sophisticated and high-grade CNC aluminum body that ensures long-lasting durability and stability. It is designed to offer better mobility, comfy handheld use, tripod, and accessories mounting flexibility. This top-notch cage is easy to use and comfortable to carry. It has multiple universal connections for mounting additional accessories, including a built-in cold shoe mount on the top and multiple 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 thread holes that let you attach mics, lights, articulating arms, and other devices and accessories. It mounts directly to tripods with a 1/4-20 or 3/8 -16 threaded mount.

Height Adjustable Cage Setup
You can mount the top handle on the top plate via the Mounting Threads. It comes with two interchangeable side support rods of different heights that mount to a 15mm rod clamp and let you adjust the cage’s height to best fit your camera. These side rods connect to the cheese-style top plate and baseplate and let them slide up and down to adjust the interior height.

Product Usage Instructions
- Inspect the contents of your shipped package to ensure you have received everything listed above.
- Mount the top handle on the top plate via the Mounting Threads.
- Choose the appropriate side support rod of different heights that mount to a 15mm rod clamp and let you adjust the cage’s height to best fit your camera.
- Connect the side rods to the cheese-style top plate and baseplate and let them slide up and down to adjust the interior height.
- Attach your camera to the cage by sliding it in and securing it with the appropriate screws.
- Mount the cage directly to a tripod with a 1/4-20 or 3/8 -16 threaded mount.
- Use the built-in cold shoe mount on the top and multiple 1/4-20 & 3/8-16 thread holes to attach mics, lights, articulating arms, and other devices and accessories as needed.

Height Adjustable Cage Setup

Match the wooden side handle to the thread of the slide rod of the camera cage, and then attach it by aligning the thread through both the knobs of the side handle and properly tighten the knobs equally.

The wooden side handle has been properly attached to the slide rod of the camera cage.

Mount the top handle by aligning it with the thread of the plate.
- NOTE: You Can mount the top handle on the top plate, according via the Mounting Threads.

After placing the top handle on the top plate, insert the button head by matching the bolt to the side threads of the handle and then properly tighten it using the 4mm Allen key.
Interchange Side Rods
- NOTE: It comes with two interchangeable side support rods of different heights that mount to a 15mm rod clamp and let you adjust the cage’s height to best fit your camera. These side rod connects to cheese-style top plate and baseplate and let them slide up and down to adjust the interior height.
- Remove the side bolt of the Camera Cage with slide rod, using the Allen key, as shown in the image.
- Remove the wooden side handle by loosening its knob.
- Remove the slide rod (145mm) by loosening the bottom bolt of the rod, using the 4mm Allen key.
- Mount the side rod (125mm) on the quick release with the rod mount and then properly tighten it using the Allen key.
- Insert the top quick release with the rod mount on the side rod and then properly secure it using the Allen key.
- Match the wooden side handle to the thread of the slide rod of the camera cage, and then attach it by aligning the thread through both the knobs of the side handle and properly tighten the knobs equally.
- NOTE: Camera cage offers better mobility, comfy handheld use, tripod and accessories mounting Flexibility.
- Insert the rod by loosening the knob of the top handle and matching the hole of the handle.
- After inserting the rod, secure the top handle by re-tightening its knob.
- Here is the proper assembled image of the Camera cage.
DSLM Camera Cage Setup
- Remove the top handle by loosening the button head of the handle using the Allen key.
- Loosen the bolt of the top cheese plate using the 3mm Allen key, so that the shoe mount can loosen up.
- After sliding the shoe mount of the plate, attach the bolt to the camera (Not Included) and properly fix it by tightening it using the 3mm Allen key.
- Match the threads of the camera (Not Included) to the bottom threads of the camera plate and then insert the screw. Properly tighten it using the screw driver.
- Place the top handle on the top plate, and then insert the button head. Properly secure it using the Allen key.

- Loosen the knob of the top handle and then insert the rod by matching it with the hole.
- After inserting the rod, secure the top handle by re-tightening its knob.
NOTE: It mounts directly to tripods with a 1/4″-20 or 3/8″ -16 threaded mount and has multiple universal connections for mounting additional accessories.
