WARNING – Read all safety information, instruc-tions, illustrations and technical data for this elec-tric tool. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire and/or serious injury. Save all warnings and instructions for future reference.
- Dangerous ultraviolet radiation. The rays of the UVC lamp are harmful to the eyes and skin. Never use the lamp outside its housing!
- The pond pressure filter must be set up at least two metres away from the pond to prevent it from falling in or a surge of water from the pond from damaging the device.
- The external pump must be switched on before the UVC lamp and the lamp should never be switched on without water flowing through it, as this could damage the device.
- Extension cables and power cables must be in-spected regularly. Defective cables or cables not designed for this purpose must not be used.
- The mains cable of this device cannot be replaced. If the cable has been damaged, the device must be scrapped.
- If the device shows signs of damage, it must not be put into operation and must be repaired by a quali-fied individual.
- Do not use the device while people are in the water.
- If the device will not be used for a long period of time, it must be stored in a dry place and protected from other weather influences.
- The built-in temperature sensor automatically switches off the UV lamp if overheating occurs. It is also switched on again after the temperature has returned to a normal level.
- Never open the housing or the lamp unless this is explicitly stated in these instructions! Failure to com-ply may result in injury and damage to the device.
- This device may only be connected to a mains sup-ply with the appropriate current consumption.
- In accordance with regulations, this device must be connected to a 230 V, 50 Hz protective contact socket. To this end, refer to the information on the type plate.
