Rattle Stick Tool Maintenance

  1. Use the sleeve with a thin wall chain or EZ tilt-style float heads. Remove for heavy wall adapters like Kraft Knuckle Head II and RED-K2.
  2. Never tighten the 2 motor bolts they are factory torqued. Additional torque will cause failure.
  3. Twist-style speed control. Turn completely left to click power off.
  4. Remove cap to oil bearing. If it is wet already DO NOT OIL. Only apply 2 -3 drops when needed. A dry bearing will cause overheating and failure. Thick oils and grease will also cause failure. Only use high-speed thin as water oils. 3 in 1 PTFE, 3 in 1 Penetrant.
  5. Big handles slip over backward, and small handles go inside.RS-EXMW-SS-BLK.RAT-Milwaukee-Rattle-Stick-Concrete-Vibrating-Tool-fig-4

WARNING
REMOVE BATTERY BEFORE PERFORMING ANY MAINTENANCE TO AVOID INJURY Important: Do not get any water, concrete, dirt, or debris inside the tool! This will void the warranty.

Remove the float end to expose the main bearing and apply 1-2 drops of lubricant as needed, if the bearing is wet, do not lubricate. Be careful it comes out fast. Too much oil can damage electrical parts
Never torque or change the factory torque on the motor screws, this will void the warranty. Only use the recommended lubricant for your Rattle Stick.(See page 7).RS-EXMW-SS-BLK.RAT-Milwaukee-Rattle-Stick-Concrete-Vibrating-Tool-

Recommended Lubricant
