CC-AC 35-10 12V Car Compressor
Product Information
The CC-AC 35/10 12V Car Compressor is a portable air compressor designed to inflate car tires. It comes with a pressure gauge, a 12V power cable, a 12V power plug with an integrated fuse, an on/off switch, a compressed air hose, a connector for tire valve, and a rubber stopper. The compressor should not be used for any other purposes than inflating car tires.
The compressor has safety measures to prevent overheating and over-inflation of tires. It is recommended to read all safety regulations and instructions provided in the manual before using the product.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before use, read all safety regulations and instructions provided in the manual.
- Connect the 12V power cable to the car’s cigarette lighter socket.
- Attach the compressed air hose to the connector for tire valve.
- Screw the rubber stopper into the compressed air hose to prevent air from escaping.
- Turn on the compressor by switching the on/off switch to “I”.
- Check the pressure gauge for the current tire pressure. Do not rely solely on the gauge as it may not provide accurate readings.
- Inflate the tire to the desired pressure by pressing the connector for tire valve firmly onto the tire valve. Monitor the pressure gauge while inflating to avoid over-inflation.
- Turn off the compressor by switching the on/off switch to “0”.
- Disconnect the compressed air hose from the connector for tire valve and unscrew the rubber stopper from the hose.
- Clean the compressor after each use and store it in a dry and safe place.
Danger!
When using the equipment, a few safety pre-cautions must be observed to avoid
injuries and damage. Please read the complete operating instructions and
safety regulations with due care. Keep this manual in a safe place, so that
the in-formation is available at all times. If you give the equipment to any
other person, hand over these operating instructions and safety regulations as
well. We cannot accept any liability for damage or accidents which arise due
to a failure to follow these instructions and the safety instructions.
Safety regulations
Danger!
Read all safety regulations and instructions. Any errors made in following the
safety regula-tions and instructions may result in an electric shock, fi re
and/or serious injury.
Keep all safety regulations and instructions in a safe place for future use.
- Never clean your clothes with the com-pressed air.
- Never direct the compressed air at other persons.
- Keep all the ventilation slots clean.
- Take care not to draw in dust or similar contaminants with the compressor.
- Protect the compressor from the rain, splashing water and damp surroundings.
- Do not stand the compressor on heated sur-faces.
- Do not use the cable for any purpose other than that intended! Never carry the compressor by its cable and never pull the plug out of the cigarette lighter socket by the cable. Pro-tect the cable from heat, oil and sharp edges.
- Examine the machine for signs of damage. Unless otherwise instructed by this manual, have defective or damaged parts repaired or replaced by a customer service workshop.
- Operate only from a rated voltage of 12 volts (direct voltage). Higher voltage ratings will destroy the compressor.
- Make sure there is reliable contact between the socket-outlet and the plug. Poor contact will lead to overheating and risk of fire.
- The compressor is not suitable for permanent duty.
- Ensure that the compressor cools down for 10 minutes after it has run for 15 minutes.

Before starting the equipment
Notes
- The equipment’s pressure gauge is not cali-brated. The indicated values are not guaran-teed to be exact air pressure values.
- Check the gauge for damage before use.
- The 12V power plug (Fig. 1 / Item 4) has an integrated miniature fuse to protect the car compressor. If the miniature fuse is defective, the car compressor will not work and the mi-niature fuse must be replaced by a miniature fuse with the same rating. Unscrew the front part of the plug for this purpose.
Operation
Insert the cigarette lighter plug (Fig. 1 / Item 4) into a matching 12 V cigarette lighter socket.
Using for the fi rst time
Important! Before you use the compressor for the fi rst time, please read the
„Important notes“ listed in section 1. After the compressor has been running
for 15 minutes, you must let it cool down for 10 minutes.
- Check the pressure gauge (Fig. 1 / Item 2) before switching on.
- To switch on, set the On/Off switch (Fig. 1/Item 5) to „I“.
- To switch off, set the On/Off switch (Fig. 1/Item 5) to „0“.
Inflating tires
Danger! Use a calibrated pressure gauge (e.g. at a petrol station) to check
the actual tire pres-sure. It is imperative to read the information in the
vehicle’s owner manual concerning the infl ation of tires.
Remove the valve cap from the valve. Screw the connector (Fig. 1 / Item 7) of the compressed air hose onto the tire valve or select the bicycle valve adapter (Fig. 2/13) as required.
Inflating footballs
Warning! Take care not to over-infl ate footballs or they might bust.
- Select the matching adapter (Fig. 2) and screw it into the connector of the compressed air hose.
Inflating air mattresses etc.
Warning! Given the material composition of in-fl atable mattresses, infl atable
boats etc., the air pressure cannot be indicated exactly. Take care therefore
not to over-infl ate such items or they might burst.
- Select the matching adapter (Fig. 2) and screw it into the connector of the compressed air hose.
Air pressure test
This function is intended for car tires and bicycle tires. The compressor does
not need to be swit-ched on. Proceed as described in section 6.2. The air
pressure can be read off the pressure gauge. In the case of items where the
wrong pressure might be fatal, e.g. car tires, the pressure should be checked
with a calibrated pressure gauge.
Cleaning, maintenance and ordering of spare parts
Danger!
Always pull out the 12V power plug before starting any cleaning work.
Cleaning
- Keep all safety devices, air vents and the motor housing free of dirt and dust as far as possible. Wipe the equipment with a clean cloth or blow it with compressed air at low pressure.
- We recommend that you clean the device immediately each time you have finished using it.
- Clean the equipment regularly with a moist cloth and some soft soap. Do not use cleaning agents or solvents; these could at-tack the plastic parts of the equipment. Ensu-re that no water can seep into the device. The ingress of water into an electric tool increases the risk of an electric shock.
Maintenance
There are no parts inside the equipment which require additional maintenance.
