Product Information
The Vent Pipe Cap Model: VPC-5 is a product of Active Ventilation Products, Inc. It is an all-aluminum construction with a thickness of 0.025 [0.635 mm]. The product is designed to be installed on an existing pipe with a diameter of 5 inches. The recommended installation screw is #8 x 1/2 Sheet Metal Screw. Product Usage Instructions
Before installation, ensure that the existing pipe has a diameter of 5 inches. Follow the below instructions to install the Vent Pipe Cap:
- Slide the Vent Pipe Cap over the existing pipe.
- Observe the screws located on top of the vent. Use this as a pattern to attach the vent to the pipe.
- To secure the vent, attach the vent to the pipe using a #8 self-tapping sheet metal screw.
- The total number of screws needed for installation is three.
- The recommended installation screw is #8 x 1/2 Sheet Metal Screw.
- The screws are not included in the product package.
After installation, ensure that the Vent Pipe Cap is firmly secured to the pipe. The product is designed to provide ventilation and protect the existing pipe from external factors.
