Product Information
The VIZpin-powered mortise lock is a secure and reliable locking system designed for both residential and commercial use. It combines mechanical and electrical components to provide a convenient and effective way to secure doors. The lock is available in both left-hand and right-hand versions and comes with an inside mounting plate assembly, battery pack, and battery cover.
Usage Instruction
- Check the handling of the lock body to ensure it is installed correctly.
- Install the chassis, trim, turn piece, and cylinder according to the included template. Feed the chassis wire into the hole on the inside of the door and gently pull it through as the chassis is inserted. Install the trim using the included instructions.
- Install the inside mounting plate assembly and ensure it is securely in place. Push any extra wire into the door cavity.
- Install the battery pack by plugging in the battery wire to the control board. Place the battery pack over the two studs on the mounting plate and snap it onto the retainers on the mounting plate.
- Install the batteries and battery cover with two black pan head screws.

CHECK THE HANDLING OF THE LOCK BODY
- If handing of the lock body is not correct for opening, consult the factory for handling instructions.
Installation Instruction
INSTALL CHASSIS, TRIM, TURN PIECE & CYLINDER
- Prepare the door according to included template.
- Install mortise chassis while feeding chassis wire into the hole on the inside of the door.
- Gently pull the wire through the hole as the chassis is inserted.
- Install trim using included instructions.
INSTALL INSIDE MOUNTING PLATE ASSEMBLY
- Install inside mounting plate assembly.
- Feed chassis wire through the T slot in the mounting plate.
- Secure with (4) pan head wood/metal screws.
- Make a wire connection after the reader is secure. Push extra wire into the door cavity.
INSTALL BATTERY PACK
- Plug in the battery wire to the control board.
- Install the battery pack over two studs on the mounting plate.
- Snap the battery pack onto the retainers on the mounting plate.
INSTALL BATTERIES AND BATTERY COVER
- Install batteries and battery cover with (2) black pan head screws.
