HT59 Pen Type Gas Leak Detector

Before using the instrument, please read this manual
carefully, and save it well for future using.

Overview

This meter is a combustible gas leakage detector, which is used to detect the leakage of combustible gas quickly and reliably.

Safety information

Read this manual carefully, and familiarize yourself with the product before you put it to use. Keep this documentation close to hand in order to be able to consult it if required.

WARNING
The meter is not a security device! For your personal safety, do not use it as a monitoring instrument.

  • Use the instrument only for the specified purpose and within the parameters specified in the technical parameters.
  • In case of damage, malfunction or incorrect display, please check the meter. Do not use faulty meter.
  • Do not use on live equipment.
  • Do not use the meter in an environment where the relative humidity exceeds 80% (condensation).
  • Observe permissible storage and transportation temperatures and permissible operating temperatures.
  • Do not use in confined spaces where gases may have accumulated into explosive mixtures.
  • Ensure gas concentration does not exceed 20% LEL (lower flammability limit).
  • Always use the known gas to detect the meter before detecting the unknown gas to ensure the normal operation of the instrument.
  • The sensitivity of the meter may reduce the alarm threshold value when it is power on in the polluted gas environment, resulting in instrument detection error.
  • Do not allow the sensor to come into contact with moisture or acid, as it will produce a cross sensitive reaction.

Product description

  1. Sensor head with gas sensor
  2. Concentration indicator
  3. Power indicator
  4. Power key
  5. Sensitivity key

Power on
press and hold it for more than 1 second.

Power off

press Key, the buzzer”beep..”a sound.

Sensitivity selection
Press “S” key:
The “S” key will light on and High sensitivity mode
Press “S” key:
The display “S” key will put out and low sensitivity mode.
High sensitivity mode by default for instrument start up.

Low battery voltage
When the power indicator is flashing, it indicates that the battery voltage is low.

Please replace the battery in time.

Auto power off
When no concentration is measured and no key operation within 5 minutes, the meter will auto power off.

Measurement operation

  1. Press key and hold it for more than 1 second, All the lights flash.
  2. The meter will automatically warm up for about 30 seconds, and the indicator will turn on in a cycle.
  3.  After preheating, the concentration indicator is off and the power indicator is on.
  4. Move the meter sensor head as close as possible and slowly (3 to 5 cm per second) to the location where you want to check for leaks.
  5. When combustible gas leakage is detected, the buzzer will sound and the concentration indicator will be on. The higher the concentration, the more rapid the beep sounds, and the more lights are lit.
  6.  Press key, the buzzer “beep…”a sound, turn off power.
    Attention!

Please power on in clean air until the preheating is completed in about 30 seconds.
