  • To switch the headphones on or off, press and hold the button • 7 for approx. 5 seconds until an acoustic signal sounds.
Establishing a Bluetooth connection

NOTES:

  • The identification of the device is Sound On-Ear BT.
  • After switching on, the device automatically tries to reconnect to the last paired device.
  • Please note that the establishment of the connection may vary slightly depending on the device and the software used.
  • The device switches off if no Bluetooth connection is established within approx. 5 minutes.
  • If you want to connect the headphones to a computer, you may need to set the sound input in the operating system in order to use the headphone microphone for use in chat programs, for example.
  • If you pass the device on to someone else, in order to protect your data and your privacy, you should disconnect the Bluetooth connection to the device and delete it from the connection list on your smartphone.
  1. Press and hold the button • 7 for approx. 5 seconds to switch on the device. An audio signal sounds. The LED 9 starts flashing red/blue while the first connection to the audio device is being established. The headphones now transmit the identification.

  2. If necessary, start the Bluetooth connection on the audio device (e.g. smartphone, MP3 player). The audio device will now receive the device identifier Sound On-Ear BT.

  3. Establish a connection to the headphones on the audio device. If you are asked for a password, enter “0000”. When the devices are connected, the LED 9 flashes blue regularly and an audio signal sounds.
    NOTE : usually, audio devices remember the identification of the device. In this case, it may not be necessary to establish the connection manually again if the Bluetooth function is activated.

  4. Start the playback of a music track on the audio device. The sound is played by the headphones.

No connection to the audio device

If a connection to an audio device cannot be established or the headphones remain silent, perform the following steps:

Disconnect/interrupt a Bluetooth connection
  • If you switch off the headphones, the connection to the audio device will temporarily be interrupted.
  • Briefly press the O button 5 twice to disconnect the current connection between the smartphone and the headphones. Pairing is restarted.
  • In order to permanently disconnect the Bluetooth system from the audio device, delete all Sound On-Ear BT entries in the device list on the player.
Functions of the buttons

WARNING! Risk of hearing damage!

NOTES:

  • When the maximum adjustable volume is reached, the headphones will beep.
  • The buttons are only active with a Bluetooth connection, not when using a cable.
  • Operation may vary depending on the device type, software version and app.

You can perform the following functions with the buttons on the headphones:

Calls via Bluetooth

If the device is connected to a smartphone it is possible for you to accept phone calls.

NOTES :

  1. Press the • button 7 briefly to accept the call.

  3. Press the • button 7 briefly during the phone call to end the call. If you have accepted the call while the music was playing, the song will continue to be played after ending the phone call.

… one of the devices is switched off;
… the Bluetooth function is switched off;
… the range (approx. 10 metres) is exceeded.

Playing music back using the cable
