PRODUCT INTRODUCTION:

This monitoring/surveillance system is ideal for a towed caravan, motor home or large boat. It could even be adapted to a beach house, barn, or workshop. All that is required is a +12V supply.
The monitor is configured to accept 4 x cameras. Additional weatherproof cameras are sold separately, or you can fit a dashboard forward facing dome camera which can also be mounted.

  1. CH1/CH2/CH3/CH4 connector: 4CH video input interface
  2. BAT yellow line: DC 12V-24V power supply (connect to the positive pole)
  3. ACC red wire: DC 12V-24V power supply (connect to the key ignition circuit)
  4. GND black wire: negative pole (connect to the negative pole)
  5. Brown wire (CH1 ): trigger CH1 single image to full screen
  6. Green wire (CH2): trigger CH2 single image to full screen
  7. Blue wire (CH3): trigger CH3 single image to full screen
  8. Gray wire (CH4): trigger CH4 single image to full screen

Tips: BAT yellow wire and ACC red wire cannot be screwed together to connect to the ACC line to take power. After power off and power on again, the recording time will not be saved. Other functions are normal. Please take power according to the usage requirements!
The power cord is recommended to be connected directly to the positive and negative terminals of the vehicle battery, or after the battery is connected to the fuse box, connect the positive and negative poles of the power supply. It is not recommended to connect to the metal conductor in the car as the ground wire, otherwise, a negative pulse will be generated to interfere with the normal operation of the monitor.

DVR/MONITOR FUNCTIONS:

  1. MENU: press it to open the monitor”s OSD interface (same as the OK key on the remote) return to last menu at menu interface (same as OK key on remote)
  2. CH1/ key: to display single image circularly at single image display, to left at menu interface and -1 when setting parameters (same as the “ ” key on the remote)
  3. CH2/ key: to display 4 multiple images circularly at multiple image display, to right at menu interface and +1 when setting parameters (same as the “ ” key on the remote)
  4. POWER: turn on or off monitor’s display image (same as the red POWER key on the remote)
  5. CH3/  key: go UP at menu interface (same as” ” key on the remote)
  6. CH4/ key: go down at the menu interface (same as the ” ”key on the remote)
  7. MODE: At multiple image display, change to different multiple images display, (the same as the “ ” key on the remote) , to confirm at menu interface (same as the MODE key on the remote)

REMOTE CONTROL FUNCTIONS:

  1. Startup/shutoff monitor
  2. Return to the default screen/to the previous step
  3. Switch multi-screen display mode circularly

Press “OK” key on the remote or press the “MENU” key on the front panel to enter into the menu interface; use the arrow keys on the remote or the” ” and “ ” key on the front panel to move the check box, then press the “OK” key on remote or “MODE” key on the front panel to confirm the selection and enter into the next sub-menu.

Playback Options:

Options

  1. Channel Select: press “OK” key on remote or “MODE” key on the front panel to enter into channel select. Press  key to choose CH1 to CH4 single channel playback, or all channels as default.
  2. Audio Output: press “OK” key on remote or “MODE” key on the front panel to enter into channel select. Press key to open or close CH1 audio output. If opened, when playback the video, which will have audio output. Off as default.
  3. Video type: press to choose video type, and press “OK” key or “MODE” key to enter into the designated searching video type, press again to choose a different type recording file and press “OK” key or “MODE” key to confirm. All recording files as default.
  4. Search date: press the key to choose search date, and then press “OK” key or MODE key to confirm to enter into it. Press key to choose year, month and date, and press “” or “” key to select the desired year, month and date. The time of the day as default.
  5. Start time: press the key to choose start time, and then press “OK” key or MODE key to confirm to enter into it. Press key to choose hour, minute and second, and press key to select the desired hour, minute and second. 00:00:00 as default.
  6. Stop time: press the key to choose stop time, and then press “OK’’ key or MODE key to confirm to enter into it. Press “LEFT” and “RIGHT” key to choose hour, minute and second, and press key to select the desired hour, minute and second. 23:59:59 as default.
  7. Storage device: 256 GB Maximum Capacity (Not included)

Playback Query:
Press key to choose Query and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm to enter into it. And the detailed interface is as below.

Press key to choose the desired recording file and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm, then press key again to choose the play button to confirm and play the current chosen video.
Press key to choose the option of front page, last page, next page, end page, play and choose all.

Record Setting:

  1. Channel select: press “OK” or “MODE” key to enter into channel select, then press key to choose all or CH1 to CH4 and press “OK” and “MODE” key to confirm it.
  2. Flameout Delay: Press key to choose flameout delay. There are 5sec, 10sec, 3min, 10min, 30min, 1 H, 2H, 6H, 12H optional. (Please note that after chose this function, the monitor will still work after flame out)
  3. Record Time: press key to choose record time, then press “OK” or” MODE” key to confirm, and then press key again to choose the record time from 3min, 5min, 10min, 15min, 20min, 30min and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm. 5Min as default.
  4. Record Mode: press key to choose record mode and press “ OK” or “MODE” key to confirm. And then press key to choose from automatic, scheduled, alarm, automatic + alarm and plan + alarm, press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm. Automatic as default.
  5. Image Flip: press key to choose image flip and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm, and then press key again to choose normal or horizontal to adjust camera image direction. Normal (Mirror) as default.
  6. Encode Setting: press key to choose encode setting and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm and enter into it. There are options for channel select, resolution (1280*720), image quality (general, good, very good, advanced) and advanced setting (frame rate, rate type, rate and frame interval).
  7. Print Setting: press key to choose print setting and press “OK’’ or “MODE” key to confirm and enter into ii. There are options for channel selection for all channel or CH1 to CH4 single channel, time print on/off, cars print on/off, channel print on/off, location print on/off and speed print on/off. Channel print on, time print on, cars print on, location print off and speed print off as default.
  8. Audio: press key to choose audio and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm and open or close audio. On as default.

Display Setting:
Display setting include display adjustment, channel name, loop preview, transparency, installation mode, automatic brightness, time display, display mode.

  1. Display Adjustment: Press “OK” or “MODE” key to enter into display adjustment interface. Press key to choose Image model, Screen Distance, Channel adjust. (i) lmage adjust: there are standard/highlight/ film/brilliance/cool/warm/customized  optional, standard as default. (ii) Screen Margins: to adjust display image’s zooming, horizontal position and vertical position movement. 0 as default. (Adjust it again if the display image is not OK) (iii) Image Adjust: can adjust all channel or signal channel image’s brightness, contrast, saturation and hue. All channel as default.

  2. Channel Name: Press key to choose channel name, and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm and enter into the channel name revising interface. Press key to choose CH 1 to CH4, press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm and change the channel  name.

  3. Loop Preview: Press key to choose Loop Preview and press “OK” or “MODE” key to ccnfirm and press key again to choose from OFF, 3S, 5S, SS, 10S, 15S. And the preview images will be auto-cycle displayed according to the time chose. Off as default.

  4. Transparency: Press key to choose transparency, and press “OK’’ or “MODE” key lo confirm, then press key again to choose from 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50%. Press “OK” or “MODE” key to ccnfirm. 0% means the menu will be the most transparent, 0% as default.

  5. Installation Mode: Press key to choose installation mode, and press “OK” or MODE key to confirm and enter into the Installation Mode interface, which can set installation mode, guide line, brake light mode, backup priority.
    A: Installation: Press key to choose normal or down install then press “OKR or” MODE” key to confirm, monitor take effect by reboot. Normal as default.
    B: Guide line: Press key to choose OFF or CH1 to CH4, choose the Guide Line on which channel then which will have guide line when reversing. If choose OFF then there are no guide line for all channels. Off as default.
    C: Brake Light Mode: Press key to choose OFF or CH1 to CH4. If you chose more than 1 channel, then once trigger one of the chosen channels, the monitor will display all the chosen channels’ images. For example, if you choose CH1 and CH2, then once trigger CH1 or CH2, the monitor will display both CH1 and CH2’s image at the same time. OFF as default.
    D: Backup Priority: Press key to choose OFF or CH1 to CH4. Selecting which channel then which will have trigger priority. For example: when you choose CH1, then once CH1 and other channels triggered at the same time, the monitor will just display CH1 ‘s image. OFF as default.

  6.  Automatic Brightness: Press “”or “” key to choose automatic brightness, and press OK or “MODE” key to confirm then press key again to choose on or off. When you turn on this function, the screen’s brightness will be down 50% at night mode. Off as default.

  7. Time Display: Press key to choose time display, and press “OK” or “MODE” key to ccnfirm, then press key again to choose on or off. If you chose OFF, then the time display on the screen will be appeared. On as default.

  8. Display Mode: press key to choose display mode, and press “OK” or “MODE” key to enter into this interface setting, which has background color, border color, display mode. Background colour: press key to choose black or blue, and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm. Choose one of the colors as background color when there is no signal input. Black as default. Border Colour: press key to choose white, red, green, yellow or OFF and press “OK” or MODE key to confirm. Choose one of the colors as the preview interface border color. OFF as default. Display Mode: press key to choose display mode and press OK’’ or “MODE” key to confirm.

System Setting:
System setting include language setting, power saving mode, system time, vehicle information, user management, storage management, restore factory, system upgrade and system information.

Setting

  1. Language setting: press “OK” or “MODE” key to enter into language setting, then press “UP’ or “DOWN” key to choose the desired language. English as default.
  2. Power saving mode: press key to choose OFF, 10min, 30min, 1 H, 2H. Once the power saving time has been set, the monitor’s screen will be off automatically no matter there are signals input or not.
  3. System time: press key to choose system time and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm and enter into setting interface for date setting, time setting, time format, daylight saving time, proof time, time zone, NTP address, NTP port.
  4. Vehicle information: press key to choose vehicle information and press “OK” or MODE key to confirm, then press key again to select and input the company, license number, driver, route and equipment number.
  5. User management: press key to choose user management and press “OK” or MODE key to confirm and enter into it. Then press  key again to select user management (off as default), user selection, password setting.
  6. Storage management: press key to choose storage management and press OK or “MODE” key to confirm and enter into the disc management interface. Then press key to select listed files, and press “” or” “ key to choose and confirm to  refresh, format or cancel.
  7. Restore factory: press key to choose restore factory and press “OK” or “MODE” key to confirm and enter into it, press key to confirm or cancel.
  8. System upgrade: press key to choose system upgrade and press “OK” or MODE key to confirm and enter into it. Then move right to choose the upgrade icon, and then press to select the upgrade file, press “OK” or “MODE” key to choose and confirm to upgrade or cancel.
  9. System information: press key to choose system information and press “OK” or MODE key to confirm and enter into it, which will show the current software version information.

Note: When the weather is cold, the product may appear dark when the product is turned on. When the product is powered on, it will slowly heat up, and the display will gradually return to normal as the temperature increases.

WARNING
KEEP BUTTON BATTERIES OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN

  • If swallowed a lithium button battery may to lead to serious or fatal injury in as little as 2 hours, due to chemical burns and potential perforation of the oesophagus.

  • Non-lithium button batteries battery can cause serious injuries if it is swallowed or placed inside any part of the body.

  • All button batteries must be kept away from children regardless if they are new or used.

  • If you suspect your child has swallowed or inserted a button battery immediately call the 24-hour Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26 (Australia) or 0800 764 766 (New Zealand) for fast, expert advise.

  • If your child is having difficulty breathing contact 000 (Australia) or 111 (New Zealand).

  • Dispose of used button batteries immediately and safely out of the reach of children. A battery can still be dangerous even when it can no longer operate the device.

  • As soon as you have finished using a button battery, put sticky tape around both sides of it.
    This will make it harder for children to swallow the button battery and avoid the risk of the battery catching fire.

  • Immediately dispose of button batteries immediately out of reach of children, or recycle using a child resistant container and take used cells to your local battery collection centre.
