Product Information

The PureMax is a water bottle with a built-in UV-C LED purification system that can eliminate up to 99.999999% of germs in just one minute in Pure Mode and three minutes in Ultra-Pure Mode. It also features a self-cleaning function, hydration reminders, and a smart safety sensor that deactivates the UV-C LED to prevent accidental exposure to the user’s eyes.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Charge The Cap: Before use, charge the PureMax cap fully by placing the magnetic charger on top of the cap over the charging pins and connecting the USB plug to a wall adapter. The charging process takes about 3-4 hours. Tap the activation button once to check the battery life. Green light indicates 40% – 100%, Orange light indicates 11% – 39%, and Red light indicates 1% – 10% charge.

2. Prime The Filter: Soak the PureMax filter in a liter of water for around 15 minutes before first use. Once soaking is done, flush the filter under running water for around two minutes.

3. Install The Filter: Install the primed filter into the PureMax cap as shown in the image. Apply slight force while installing to ensure the filter fits snugly into the cap.

4. Fill The Bottle: Fill the PureMax bottle with water and screw the PureMax cap.

5. Purify The Water: Press the activation button twice to start Pure Mode or three times for Ultra-Pure Mode purification. During this process, the indicator light will breathe BLUE. Once the purification is completed, the indicator light will flash GREEN. Pure Mode purification takes one minute, and Ultra-Pure Mode purification takes three minutes.  

6. Drink The Water: Drink the purified water confidently once the purification is completed.

7. UV Sanitizer: The PureMax can also sanitize objects on the go, like phones, keys, masks, etc. Simply place the objects inside the bottle and UV treat them in Ultra-Pure Mode, eliminating 99.99% of germs on their surfaces. Note : Depending on your usage, you can purchase PureMax bottle-only products from WAATR.COM in various sizes. The PureMax cap currently fits 25, 32, and 40 oz PureMax bottles. WAATR will be introducing more bottle size options in the future.

Charging

To charge, place the magnetic charger on top of the cap over the charging pins and connect the USB plug to a wall adapter. Full charge takes about 3-4 hours.

Battery Life

Press the activation button once to check the battery life.

Pure Mode Purification

Press activation button twice to activate Pure Mode. This mode will activate UV-C LED for 1 min. to purify water. During this process, the indicator light will breathe BLUE. Once the purification is completed, the indicator light will flash GREEN.

Ultra-Pure Mode Purification

Press activation button thrice to activate Ultra-Pure Mode. This mode will activate UV-C LED for 3 min. to maximize purification, destroying 99.999999% of germs. During this process, the indicator light will breathe BLUE. Once the purification is completed, the indicator light will flash GREEN.

Self-Cleaning Feature

To conserve battery, PureMax ships with the self-cleaning feature deactivated. To activate the self-cleaning feature, LONG PRESS the activation button for 3 seconds; the indicator light will blink GREEN upon successful activation. To deactivate this feature, LONG PRESS the activation button for
3 seconds; the indicator light will blink RED upon successful deactivation. Once self-cleaning mode is turned ON, PureMax will automatically activate once every hour for 15 seconds to keep the bottle odor-free. While self-cleaning is in-progress, indicator light will breathe BLUE.

Drink Water Reminder

To conserve battery, PureMax ships from with the drink reminder feature deactivated. To activate the drink reminder feature, press the activation button 5 times; the indicator light will blink ORANGE upon successful activation. To deactivate this feature, press the activation button 5 times; the indicator light will blink RED upon successful deactivation. Once the drink reminder is turned ON, PureMax will slow blink GREEN 3 times every 30 minutes for up to 2 hours. If the user does not remove the cap for more than 2 hours, the drink reminder will go into standby mode until the user removes the cap.

UV-C Smart Safety Sensor

To protect users from accidental eye exposure, PureMax is built with a
smart safety sensor. This sensor deactivates the UV-C LED once the cap
is removed from the bottle. If the user removes the cap from the bottle during Pure or Ultra-Pure Mode or self-cleaning mode is in progress, the indicator LED will blink RED for 3 seconds and then the UV-C LED will turn off. This prevents user from accidental exposure to the UV-C light.

One Cap Fits All
Depending on your usage, you can purchase PureMax bottle-only products from WAATR.COM in various sizes. PureMax cap currently fits 25, 32, and 40 oz PureMax bottles. Note: WAATR will be introducing more bottle size options in the future.

Filter Choices
We know filters are not “one size fits all”. So, we designed the cartridge to be easily interchangeable to accommodate a variety of cartridges that we will be introducing in the near future. We designed our first three sets of cartridges to satisfy your thirst:

Safety Precautions

• Do not expose eyes to UV-C light.
• NOT DISHWASHER SAFE. Hand wash only.
• Change the filters once every two months to ensure optimal performance.

Warranty

Lifetime warranty summary: WAATR warrants its products against the defects in materials and workmanship for its lifetime from the date of original purchase. WAATR will replace the covered product using new or fully refurbished product depending on the availability.
WAATR does not cover shipping under the warranty.
