Dear Buyer!
We congratulate you on having bought the device under trade name «Arctic». We are sure that our devices will become essential and reliable assistance in your housekeeping. Avoid extreme temperature changes. Rapid temperature change (e.g. when the unit is moved from freezing temperature to a warm room) may cause condensation inside the unit and a malfunction when it is switched on. In this case leave the unit at room temperature for at least 1.5 hours before switching it on. If the unit has been in transit, leave it indoors for at least 1.5 hours before starting operation.

To ensure best use of your appliance, carefully read the operating instructions which contain a description of the appliance and advice on storing and preserving food. Keep this handbook for future reference. 1. After unpacking the appliance, make sure it is not damaged and that the door closes properly. Any damage must be reported to the dealer within 24 hours of delivery of the appliance. 2. Wait at least two hours before switching the appliance on, in order to ensure that the refrigerant circuit is fully efficient. 3. Make sure installation and the electrical connection are carried out by a qualified technician according to the manufacturer’s instructions and in compliance with the local safety regulations. 4. Clean the inside of the appliance before using it. Before putting into operation shelf life is unlimited. Service life ­ 2 years.

BEFORE USING THE APPLIANCE
Please read this instruction manual carefully before use.

  1. Packing
    The packing material is 100% recyclable and bears the recycling symbol. Comply with the local regulations for disposal. Keep the packing materials (plastic bags, polystyrene parts, etc.) out of the reach of children, as they are a potential source of danger.

Information:
This appliance does not contain CFC (the refrigerant circuit contains R134a) or HFC (the refrigerant circuit contains R600a) (refer to the rating plate inside the appliance). Appliances with isobutane (R600a): Isobutane is a natural gas without environmental impact but is flammable. Therefore, make sure the refrigerant circuit pipes are not damaged.

Declaration of conformity
This appliance is intended for storing food and is manufactured in conformity with European regulation (EC) No. 1935/2004.

  • This product has been designed, manufactured, and marketed in compliance with:
  • the safety objectives of Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU;
  • the protection requirements of “EMC” Directive 2014/30/EU.
  • Electrical safety of the appliance is guaranteed only if it is connected to an efficient and approved earthing system.

Please read this users operation manual before using. Appearance of refrigerator refers to production. Because of production improvement, your refrigerator may not be consistent with this user manual fully.

Overview

Note: Above picture is for reference only. Real appliance probably is different.

Space Requirement

  • Select a location without direct exposure to sunlight;
  • Select a location with enough space for the refrigerator doors to open easily;
  • Select a location with level (or nearly level) flooring;
  • Allow sufficient space to install the refrigerator on a flat surface;
  • Allow clearance to the right, left, back and top when installing. This will help reduce power consumption and keep your energy bills lower.
  • It is advisable to keep at least 10mm gap at two sides.

Positioning
Install this appliance at a location where the ambient temperature corresponds to the climate class indicated on the rating plate of the appliance:

  • for refrigerating appliances with climate class:
  • extended temperate: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 10 °C to 32 °C;
  • temperate: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 16 °C to 32 °C;
  • subtropical: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 16 °C to 38 °C;
  • tropical: this refrigerating appliance is intended to be used at ambient temperatures ranging from 16 °C to 43 °C;

Location
The appliance should be installed well away from sources of heat such as radiators, boilers, direct sunlight etc. Ensure that air can circulate freely around the back of the cabinet. To ensure best performance, if the appliance is positioned below an overhanging wall unit, the minimum distance between the top of the cabi-net and the wall unit must be at least 100 mm. Ideally, however, the appliance should not be positioned below overhanging wall units. Accurate leveling is ensured by one or more adjustable feet at the base of the cabinet.

Warning! It must be possible to disconnect the appliance from the mains power supply; the plug must therefore be easily accessible after installation.

Electrical connection
Before plugging in, ensure that the voltage and frequency shown on the rating plate correspond to your domestic power supply. The appliance must be earthed. The power supply cable plug is provided with a contact for this purpose. If the domestic power supply socket is not earthed, connect the appliance to a separate earth in compliance with current regulations, consulting a qualified electrician.The manufacturer declines all responsibility if the above safety precautions are not  observed. This appliance complies with the E.E.C. Directives.

Door Reversibility
Before reversing the door, please be prepared below tools and material: straight screwdriver, cross screwdriver, spanner and the components included in the poly bag.

Easy open handle ×1

  1. Remove the screw hole covers.

  2. Unscrew right top hinge cover, and disconnect connectors of door switch and display.

  3. Unscrew and remove the top hinge, and then remove the door.

  4. Remove the right aid-closer, and take out left aid-closer from accessories bag and install it at left side.

  5. Unscrew the bottom hinge, and remove the adjustable foot from the left side to the right side.

  6. Unscrew and move the bottom hinge pin from the right side to the left side, then install the bottom hinge on the left side of the appliance.

  7. Unscrew and move the top hinge pin from bottom side to upper side.Remove door switch from right hinge cover and then install it in left hinge cover which is placed in accessory bag.

  8. Unscrew and move the top decorative cover on the left side, and install it on the right side.

  9. Install the door, and then move the connecting wires from right side to left side.

  10. Install the top hinge to the left side, please slightly adjust the top hinge while installing to make sure gasket is well sealed.

  11. Connect connectors of door switch and display, and install the left top hinge cover.

  12. Install the upper wire box covers to the right side.

Easy open handle installation

  1. Remove the screw hole covers. Step 1

  2. Take out the easy open handle which is placed in crisper drawer, and install it. Step 2

Note: this refrigerating appliance is not intended to be used as a built- in appliance.
Levelling the unit
To do this adjust the two levelling feet at front of the unit. If the unit is not level, the doors and magnetic seal alignments will not be covered properly.

Using the Control Panel

    2.0 Illustration of the buttons
    All buttons are valid only in unlocking status. Short beep after per touching of buttons
    2.1 FREEZER:
    temperature control of the appliance available only for user defined mode Touching “FREEZER” button consecutively, the temperature will change in a circle from -14~-22, stop touching and after 5 seconds flashing, temperature is set.
    2.2 SUPER: select and deselect super mode Press “SUPER” button to select super mode. After 5 seconds flashing of super mode icon, super mode is selected. When super mode is selected, super mode icon will light on, and display window will show -25. In super mode, touching “FREEZER” button, super mode icon will flash 3 times, but freezer temperature can not be changed. To exit Super mode, – Press “SUPER” button to deselect Super mode, – Or after 50 hours of super mode without any operation, the refrigerator willautomatically stop it and enter to previous setting.
    Warning: In super mode, noise of the appliance may be slightly higher than normal running.
    2.3ALARM/ECO:
    clear door opening alarm and high temperature alarm,s elect and deselect ECO mode Short touching “ALARM/ECO” button to clear door opening alarm and high temperature alarm. Touching “ALARM/ECO” button for 3 seconds to select ECO mode. After 5 seconds flashing of ECO mode icon, ECO mode is selected. When ECO mode is selected, ECO mode icon will light on, and display window will show different preset temperatures, depending on the ambient temperature (Ta) of where the appliance be placed, as below.
    In ECO mode, “FREEZER” button will not respond to any touching. Touching “ALARM/ECO” button for 3 seconds to deselect ECO mode. Ambient

2.4 LOCK: Locking and Unlocking Touching “LOCK” button for 3 seconds to lock the control panel, then the locking and unlocking icon will be ” In locking status, touch any button, the locking and unlocking icon will flash 3 times.

In unlocking status, all buttons are available. If no operation in 25 seconds, the control panel will be locked automatically.
3.0 Door opening alarm
If the door keeps opening for 90 seconds, door opening alarm sounds. Close the door to stop the door opening alarm. Or short touching “ALARM/ECO” button to clear door opening alarm.
4.0 High temperature alarm
If high internal temperature of the appliance is detected, high-temperature alarm will sound, “ht” and detected temperature will display alternately on display window. Short touching “ALARM/ECO” button to stop door opening alarm. High-temperature display will disappear automatically only if detected temperature goes back to normal.
First use
Cleaning the interior Before using the appliance for the first time, wash the interior and all internal accessories with lukewarm water and some neutral soap so as to remove the typical smell of a brand new product, then dry thoroughly.

Important!
Do not use detergents or abrasive powders, as these will damage the finish.
Daily use
Position different food in different compartments according to be below table

Storing frozen food
When first starting-up or after a period out of use. Before putting the product in the compartment let the appliance run at least 2 hours on the higher settings. Important! In the event of accidental defrosting, for example the power has been off for longer than the value shown in the technical characteristics chart under “rising time , the defrosted food must be consumed quickly or cooked immediately and then re-frozen (after cooked).

Thawing
Deep-frozen or frozen food, prior to be used, can be thawed in the freezer compartment or at room temperature, depending on the time available for this operation. Small pieces may even be cooked still frozen, directly from the freezer. In this case, cooking will take longer.

Disassemble the bottom drawer

  1. Pull out the bottom drawer to stopper position.
  2. Push up the elastic buckles on both sides of the bottom drawer.

Helpful hints and tips

Hints for freezing

To help you make the most of the freezing process, here are some important hints:

  • the maximum quantity of food which can be frozen in 24 hrs. is shown on the rating plate;
  • the freezing process takes 24 hours. No further food to be frozen should be added during this period;
  • only freeze top quality, fresh and thoroughly cleaned, foodstuffs;
  • prepare food in small portions to enable it to be rapidly and completely frozen and to make it possible subsequently to thaw only the quantity required;
  • wrap up the food in aluminium foil or polythene and make sure that the packages are airtight;
  • do not allow fresh, unfrozen food to touch food which is already frozen, thus avoiding a rise in temperature of the latter;
  • lean foods store better and longer than fatty ones; salt reduces the storage life of food;
  • water ices, if consumed immediately after removal from the freezer compartment, can possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt;
  • it is advisable to show the freezing in date on each individual pack to enable you removal from the freezer compartment, can possibly cause the skin to be freeze burnt;

Hints for storage of frozen food
To obtain the best performance from this appliance, you should: make sure that the commercially frozen foodstuffs were adequately stored by the retailer; be sure that frozen foodstuffs are transferred from the food store to the freezer in the shortest possible time; not open the door frequently or leave it open longer than absolutely necessary. Once defrosted, food deteriorates rapidly and cannot be refrozen. Do not exceed the storage period indicated by the food manufacture.

Cleaning

For hygienic reasons the appliance interior, including interior accessories, should be cleaned regularly.
Caution! The appliance may not be connected to the mains during cleaning.

Danger of electrical shock! Before cleaning switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker or fuse. Never clean the appliance with a steam cleaner. Moisture could accumulate in electrical components, danger of electrical shock! Hot vapors can lead to the damage of plastic parts. The appliance must be dry before it is placed back into service.

Important! Ethereal oils and organic solvents can attack plastic parts, e.g. lemon juice or the juice form orange peel, butyric acid, cleanser that contain acetic acid.

  • Do not allow such substances to come into contact the appliance parts.
  • Do not use any abrasive cleaners
  • Remove the food from the freezer. Store them in a cool place, well covered.
  • Switch the appliance off and remove the plug from the mains, or switch off or turn out the circuit breaker of fuse.
  • Clean the appliance and the interior accessories with a cloth and lukewarm water. After cleaning wipe with fresh water and rub dry.
  • After everything is dry place appliance back into service.

The internal light is a LED type. To replace the lamp. Please contact qualified technician.

Troubleshooting

Caution! Before troubleshooting, disconnect the power supply. Only a qualified electrician of competent person must do the troubleshooting that is not in this manual.

Instructions for installation:

  1. Do not tilt the refrigerator for more than 45 from upright when moving it. Do not apply force to any part such as the condenser, the door and its handle in order to prevent the refrigerator from deforming, or else its performance will be influenced.

  2. Ensure that there is enough space around the refrigerator in order to let it work well.

  3. The refrigerator should be kept away from high temperature, sunshine or humid conditions.

Cautions for Safety:

  1. It must be checked that the voltage used should be the same as the rated voltage before the refrigerator is used.
  2. The power plug should have its own separated socket in order to prevent the electric wire from being overheated by other plugs.

Operation:

  1. When operating the refrigerator for the first time, set the thermostatic dial at 3, connect the electric wire and run it without loading any food. Usually this takes 2 or 3 hours. Then set the thermostatic dial at the desired setting and place foods into the refrigerator. rated voltage before the refrigerator is used.

Operation:

  1. When operating the refrigerator for the first time, set the thermostatic dial at 3, connect the electric wire and run it without loading any food. Usually this takes 2 or 3 hours.
    Then set the thermostatic dial at the desired setting and place foods into the refrigerator.

  2. The temperature of the refrigerator can be adjusted by turning the thermostatic dial, setting of the thermostatic dial at 3~4 is the most suitable for general operation. The thermostatic dial number higher the refrigeration capability stronger.

  3. Do not put too many foods in the refrigerator. Open the door lesser in order to maintain the temperature of the refrigerator and save electric consumption.

  4. Refrigerator can defrost automatically. Defrost the freezer whenever the layer of frost on the surface reaches 3 or 4 mm. When defrosting, remove all foods and appendix, set the thermostat at 0 position and open the door. After the frost has melted, discard the water and dry up the interior of the refrigerator. The refrigerator can then be restarted by turning its thermostat to the desired setting.

Cautions:

  • When defrosting, never use any sharp or metallic objects to remove the frost on the surface of the evaporator as this will damage the evaporator.
  • Do not store bottled beverage in the freezing compartment, so as to prevent it from being broken and damaging the refrigerator.
  • Replug the electric power again at an interval of over ten minutes.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  1. When cleaning the refrigerator, disconnect the electric wire. Rub it carefully with a piece of cloth soaked with neutral cleanser, then wipe it clean with fresh water.
  2. Never use acids, chemical solution, thinner, gasoline or the likes to clean the refrigerator because they may damage the painting cover and plastic parts of it.

Troubleshooting

  1. When the refrigerator does not operate, ensure that
    • The electric power is supplied and the voltage is normal.
    • The fuse is not burned out.
    • The power plug is plugged in firmly in the socket.

  2. When the refrigerator is not cool enough, ensure that
    • The thermostat is at the correct setting.
    • There is enough space around the refrigerator.
    • The doors are not open too frequently and for too long.
    • The refrigerator is not under direct sunlight or placed near the heat source.
    • There are not too many foods and hot foods in the refrigerator.

  3. When the foods in the refrigerator are frozen:
    • The thermostat is at the correct setting.
    • There are not too much food in the refrigerator.

  4. When the refrigerator operates too noisily.
    • The refrigerator is properly leveled.
    • The refrigerator is not touching objects around it.
    • The containers or solid packages stored inside are not touching each other.

Note:
During the period of high relative humidity, moisture may form on the surface of the refrigerator. It is not malfunction. You may just wipe it up yourself. If your refrigerator is still not functioning properly after making the above checks, please contact with the maintenance service department without any delay.
