L01-48100 Lithium-Ion Battery

Product Information

The L01-48100 Lithium-ion Battery is a battery pack that is rated at IP20 and must be installed indoors. The battery pack comes with positive plug (+) Orange x2, negative plug (-) Black x2, and CAN Plug x1. The product also includes rack-mounting installation accessories (optional), floor-mounting installation accessories (optional), and wall-mounting installation accessories (optional). The optimal temperature range for the battery pack to operate is from 15 to 35. Frequent exposure to harsh temperatures may deteriorate the performance and lifetime of the battery module.

Product Usage Instructions

Before installing the L01-48100 Lithium-ion Battery, make sure that the ambient temperature is within the operating range of 15 to 35. Follow the installation steps provided below:

Rack-mounting Installation

1. Install another pair of brackets on the first one.
2. Screw them with four butterfly screws.
3. Insert another L01 battery into the brackets.
4. Screw the battery with the bracket.
5. Install the front and back brackets with bottom brackets.
6. Insert the L01 battery into the brackets.
7. Screw the battery with the bracket.

Floor-mounting Installation

1. Remove the side plate of L01 battery.
2. Screw front panel and left, right floor-mounting bracket with the battery.
3. Pay attention to the logo position.
4. Drill two holes with an 8 drill bit and the depth is at least 40mm.
5. Screw the battery.
6. Hammer the expansion tubes into the holes.
7. Do not stack more than eight batteries.

Wall-mounting Installation

1. Remove the side plate of L01 battery.
2. Screw front panel and hanging bracket with the battery.
3. Pay attention to the logo position.
4. Screw the expansion bolts.
5. Match the battery with the bracket.
6. Lock the joint between hanging board and wall bracket with M4 screws.
7. Mark the position of the holes.
8. Drill four holes with an 8 drill bit and depth at least 40mm.
9. Hammer the expansion bolts into the holes.
10. The height of the wall-mounting bracket should be 300mm.

Ground Cable Connection
Crimp ground terminal according to the distance between battery and external ground point. Connect external ground point with ground terminal.

Installation Prerequisites

Make sure that the installation location meets the following conditions:

• The building is designed to withstand earthquakes
• The location is far away from the sea, to avoid sea water and humid air
• The floor is flat and level
• There are no flammable or explosive materials nearby
• The ambience is shady and cool, keep away from heat as well as direct sunlight
• The temperature and humidity stay at a constant level
• There is minimal dust and dirt in the area
• There is no corrosive gases present, including ammonia and acid vapor
• The ambient temperature is with the range from 0℃ to 55℃ and the optimal ambient temperature is between 15℃ and 35℃

Notice: The L01 battery is rated at IP20 and thus must be installed indoors.
Notice : If the ambient temperature is beyond the operating range, the battery pack will stop operating to protect itself. The optimal temperature range for the battery pack to operate is from 15℃ to 35℃. Frequent exposure to harsh temperatures may deteriorate the performance and lifetime of the battery module.

Battery Installation

Rack-mounting Installation
Install the front and back brackets with bottom brackets

Insert the L01 battery into the brackets
Screws the battery with the bracket – Install another pair of brackets on the first one
– screws them with four butterfly screws – Insert another L01 battery into the brackets
– Screws the battery with the bracket Notice: No more than eight batteries are allowed to stacked.

Set DIP switch

Single battery settings
Set the DIP switch as address 1

Multiple batteries in parallel settings

• Set the master battery DIP switch as address 1
• Set the slave battery DIP switch from address 2 to 8 in turns

Notice The factory setting of DIP switch is address 0
