Product Information

The Wiser Flush-mounted Thermostat 2 A is a device used for water-based heating and cooling applications like underfloor heating and radiator heating. Product Usage Instructions

Follow the steps below to use the Wiser Flush-mounted Thermostat 2 A:

  1. Select Object > Generate QR Code… to create a link to the DUG chapter.
  2. Place the generated QR code and apply the Object Style QR-Code_Frame.
  3. Position the QR code graphic over this text.
  4. Size: 30×30 mm x:35 mm Y: frame + 2 mm
  5. After the first power up or reset, select a preset by rotating the rotary push-button. Clockwise to increase the preset value or counterclockwise to decrease the preset value.
  6. To confirm the selection, press the push button for > 1 s.
  7. If you need to change the preset, reset the thermostat. For more information about factory-reset, refer to the Device User Guide.
  8. You can find detailed information about the presets in the Device User Guide.

Note: Follow the electrical connection wiring options mentioned in the product manual. Do not connect components that produce heat, such as dimmers or electronic switches. Also, follow all safety instructions and regulations mentioned in the product manual to avoid any accidents or injuries.

About this product
The Wiser Flush-mounted Thermostat 2 A (hereinafter referred to as thermostat) is mainly used for water-based heating and cooling applications, such as water-based underfloor heating and radiator heating.

NOTE: The thermostat is not suitable for directly connecting an electrical heating.

Selecting the installation site
In order for the thermostat to be operated, the internal temperature sensor must be protected as far as possible against external influences and temperature fluctuations. This helps to guarantee reliable measurement of the room temperature.
The following should therefore be taken into account when considering the installation site:

  • Minimum installation height: 1.5 m above the floor.
  • Do not install too close to windows, doors or venti-lation openings.
  • Do not install above heaters or other heat sources.
  • Do not cover or install behind curtains.
  • Avoid direct sunlight and light from lamps.
  • Do not install in power strips next to or above components that produce heat, such as dimmers or electronic switches.

Electrical Connections

DANGER: HAZARD OF ELECTRIC SHOCK, EXPLOSION, OR ARC FLASH Safe electrical installation must be carried out only by skilled professionals. Skilled professionals must prove profound knowledge in the following areas:

  • Connecting to installation networks.
  • Connecting several electrical devices.
  • Laying electric cables.
  • Safety standards, local wiring rules and regulations.
    Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

DANGER: RISK OF FATAL INJURY FROM ELECTRIC SHOCK
The output may carry electrical current even when the load is switched off.

  • Disconnect the device from the supply by means of the fuse in the incoming circuit before working on the device.
  • Make sure the mains input has a 2 A fuse.

Failure to follow these instructions will result in death or serious injury.

Mounting

Presets: A preset must be selected after the first power up or reset.

NOTE: When a preset is selected, it can only be changed by resetting the thermostat. For more information about factory-reset, refer to the Device User Guide.
