- Connect the negative and positive terminals to the appropriate power source.

- Use the testing port to ground the product.
- Use the inverter data link uplink terminal to connect with an inverter.
- Use the downlink terminal and data terminal to connect with other devices.

- Make sure batteries are turned off before installation.
- Secure the batteries in fixed place, preferably on a server rack.
- Connect power cables and data cables.
- Make sure the all the DIP switch are in the correct position.
- Connect to interver’s battery terminals and data port.

In case a battery (in normal condition or damaged) needs disposal or needs recycling, it shall follow the local recycling regulation (i.e. Regulation (EC) Number 1013/2006 among European Union) to process and use the best available measures to achieve relevant recycling efficiency.
- It is required to charge the battery at least once every six months. For this charge, maintenance ensures the SOC is higher than 90%.
- The connection of the power connector, grounding point, power cable, and screw is suggested to be checked yearly. Ensure there is no loose, broken, or corrosion at the connection point. Check the installation environment, such as dust, water, insect, and more, to ensure it is suitable for the IP20 battery system.
- If the battery is stored for a long time, it must charge every six months, and the SOC should be higher than 90%.
