INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
Ambush Side Step for 2019+ DODGE RAM 1500 CREW CAB PART #DG-4200

PROCEDURE
REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ASSISTANCE IS RECOMMENDED.
- Start the installation under the passenger/right side of the vehicle. Locate the front (3) factory studs along the inner side of the body panel, (Figure 1). IMPORTANT: Remove any undercoating or paint from threads before installing Brackets.
- Select (1) Mounting Bracket. NOTE: All (6) Brackets are universal and will fit left or right side. Attach the Mounting Bracket to the (3) factory studs with (3) 8mm Flat Washers and (3) 8mm Nylon Lock Nuts, (Figures 2 & 3). Leave hardware loose at this time.
- Repeat Steps 1 & 2 to attach (1) Bracket to the center mounting location along the body panel, (Figures 4 & 5).
- Repeat Steps 1 & 2 to attach (1) Bracket to the rear mounting location close to the end of the cab, (Figures 6 & 7).
- Carefully unwrap the Ambush Side Steps and select the Passenger/right side assembly. Use the illustration above to help identify the correct Side Step.
- With assistance, attach the Side Step to the front facing side of the Brackets with the included (6) 10mm Hex Bolts, (12) 10mm Flat Washers and (6) 10mm Nylon Lock Nuts, (Figures 8— 12). Do not tighten hardware at this time.
- Level and adjust the Side Step as necessary and fully tighten all hardware.
- Repeat Steps 1—7 for the Driver/left Ambush Side Step installation.
- Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.
To protect your investment, Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish. Mild soap may be used also to clean the Ambush Side Step.
