PROCEDURE:
REMOVE CONTENTS FROM BOX. VERIFY ALL PARTS ARE PRESENT. READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION. ASSISTANCE IS RECOMMENDED TO AVOID POSSIBLE INJURY OR DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE. DRILLING IS REQUIRED.

  1. Start installation along the driver/left side of the vehicle. Remove the plastic covers from the bottom of the floor area and bottom of the outer rocker panel below the doors, (Figures 1 & 2).

  2. Remove the (2) factory hex bolts from the bottom of the front suspension mount, (Figure 3). Select (1) Front Frame Bracket, (Figure 4). Attach the Frame Bracket to the threaded holes with the included (2) 14mm x 80mm Special Fine Thread Hex Bolts, (2) 14mm Lock Washers and (2) 14mm Flat Washers,(Figure 5). Do not fully tighten hex bolts at this time.

  3. Next, locate the (3) mounting holes along the floor just inside of the pinch weld, (Figure 6). NOTE: The mounting holes used are the mounting holes for the plastic covers removed in Step 1. If necessary, hold the Rock Slider assembly up to the front Frame Bracket. Do not attach the Rock Slider, just hold it up in position to identify the (3) mounting holes required for front, center and rear side Mounting Bracket installation.

  4. Open both driver/left side doors. Move to the front mounting hole, (Figure 6). Hold the unique driver/left Front Mounting Bracket up to the floor. Line up the center of the slot in the Bracket with the mounting hole. Mark the outer slot in the Bracket onto the back of the pinch weld, (Figure 7).

  5.  Use an electric drill and 5/16” drill bit to drill a hole through the pinch weld, (Figure 8).

  6.  Next, use a 3/8” drill bit to drill out the front mounting hole in the floor, (Figures 8 & 10). VERY IMPORTANT: Only drill through the outer sheet metal to enlarge the hole for a Threaded Insert, do not drill completely through the floor.

  7. Select the 6mm Threaded Insert Installation Tool and (1) 6mm Threaded Insert, (Figure 9-A).

  8. Screw the Insert onto the threaded end of the Insert Tool, (Figure 9-A).

  9. Firmly hold the Tool and push the Insert into the previously drilled hole in the floor, (Figure 9-B). NOTE: Insert should fit snug into the drilled hole. Lightly tap the Tool and Insert into the hole with a small hammer if necessary.

  10. Firmly hold the hex nut on the Insert Tool in place with a wrench and turn the hex bolt clockwise to tighten the bolt and expand the Insert in the hole, (Figure 9-C).

  11. Once Insert is fully compressed and expanded, remove the Tool from the Insert, (Figure 11). WARNING: Do not overtighten Insert or damage to the Insert may result.

  12. Repeat the previous Steps to install the remaining (2) Threaded Inserts, (Figure 12).

  13. Select the unique driver/left front Mounting Bracket, (Figure 13). Attach the Bracket to the Threaded Insert with (1) 6mm x 20mm Hex Bolt, (1) 6mm Lock Washer and (1) 6mm Flat Washer. Attach the Bracket to the back of the pinch weld with the included (1) 6mm x 20mm Hex Bolt, (2) 6mm Flat Washers, (1) 6mm Lock Washer and (1) 6mm Hex Nut. Leave hardware loose at this time.

  14. Select the (2) identical driver/left center/rear Mounting Brackets, (Figure 14). Repeat Step 4 to attach the (2) Brackets to the vehicle.

  15. Move toward the rear of the vehicle. Determine if the vehicle has stock/original suspension or if the rear suspension mount has an added aftermarket spacer block for additional ground clearance.
    Original suspension (no spacer).

  16. Reuse the (2) factory hex bolts to attach (1) Rear Frame Bracket to the (2) threaded holes, (Figures 15—17).
Lifted suspension (aftermarket spacer block added).

  17. Remove the (2) hex bolts. Select (1) Rear Frame Bracket.

  18. Attach the Bracket to the spacer and the vehicle with the included (2) 10mm x 80mm Special Fine Thread Hex Bolts, (2) 10mm Lock Washers and (2) 10mm Flat Washers, (Figure 18). Do not fully tighten hardware at this time.

  19. Carefully unwrap the Rocker Sliders. Select the driver/left Rocker Slider. Attach (1) Rubber Bumper to the front mounting tab on Rocker Slider with the included (1) 6mm x 25mm Button Head Bolt, (2) 6mm Flat Washers, (1) 6mm Lock Washer and (1) 6mm Hex Nut, (Figure 19). Repeat this Step to attach (1) Rubber Bumper to the rear mounting tab on the Rocker Slider, (Figure 20). Tighten the hardware attaching the Rubber Bumpers

  20. Determine if the vehicle has stock/original suspension or if the rear suspension mount has an added aftermarket spacer block for additional ground clearance.
Models with stock or original suspension.

  21. Attach the (1) Standard Rear Mounting Plate to the end of the Rocker Slider with (1) 12mm x 35mm Countersunk Bolt, (Figure 21).
Models with lifted suspension and spacer.

  22. Attach (1) Adjustable Rear Mounting Plate to the end of the Rocker Slider with (1) 12mm x 35mm Countersunk Bolt, (Figure 22). NOTE: Install Adjustable Plate with ID notch at the top.

  23. With assistance, hold the Rocker Slider up to the Front Frame Bracket. Attach the front of the Rocker Slider to the Frame Bracket with (2) 10mm x 55mm Hex Bolts, (4) 10mm Flat Washers, (2) 10mm Lock Washers and (2) 10mm Hex Nuts, (Figures 23 & 24). Leave hardware loose.

  24. Move to the rear of the Rocker Slider. Attach the rear Mounting Plate on the Rocker Slider to the rear Frame Bracket with the included (2) 10mm x 30mm Hex Bolts, (4) 10mm Flat Washers, (2) 10mm Lock Washers and (2) 10mm Hex Nuts, (Figures 25 & 26).

  25. Next, attach the front, center and rear Mounting Brackets to the tabs on the Rocker Slider with the included (6) 8mm x 25mm Hex Bolts, (12) 8mm Flat Washers, (6) 8mm Lock Washers and (6) 8mm Hex Nuts, (Figure 27). Do not fully tighten hardware.

  26. Align and adjust the Rocker Slider and fully tighten all hardware.

  27. Reinstall outer rocker covers removed in Step 1 if desired. NOTE: Plastic covers removed from floor cannot be reinstalled.

  28. Repeat Steps 1—13 to install the passenger/right Rocker Slider.

  29. Do periodic inspections to the installation to make sure that all hardware is secure and tight.

To protect your investment, Do not use any type of polish or wax that may contain abrasives that could damage the finish. Mild soap may be used to clean the Rocker Sliders.
