Initial Operation
Before commissioning, check that the rated mains voltage and mains frequency stated on the type plate match your power supply.
Devices like this that generate direct current can influence simple earth leakage protection devices. Use a type F or better, with a release current of max. 30 mA.
Self-test
Plug in.
During correct operation, the LED display “CHARGE COMPLETE” lights gren. Now
the charger is ready to charge the fischer battery packs.
Charging battery pack
Insert the battery pack completely up to the stop, the LED-display “CHARGING”- LED lights red, if the battery pack is completely inserted and is charging. The complete charging process of an empty battery lasts 90 minutes.
Note: If the LED-display keeps the “CHARGE COMPLETE”-LED light green
when you insert the battery pack, that means that the battery pack is already
charged and does not need anymore charging.
Conservation charge
Once the charging process has finished, the battery charger automatically switches to conservation mode. The battery pack can remain in the battery charger and is therefore always ready for use. The LED display lights up green “CHARGE COMPLETE”.
Faults
There is a fault, if LED-displays flash alternatively red and green. These could be the possible reasons:
Battery pack is not charged.
Excessive/insufficient temperature.
When the temperature of the battery pack is between 5 °C and 50°C, the charging process begins automatically.
Battery pack is defective
- Remove the battery pack immediately from the charger. Charger defected.
- Please unplug immediately the charger from the power supply and do not use it anymore.
