Introduction
Thank you for choosing to purchase this quality product. To minimise the risk
of injury, we ask you to always take some basic safety precautions when using
this product. Please read this operating manual
carefully and make sure that you understand it. Keep these operation
instructions in a safe place.
Safety instructions
Always wear protective gloves!
Warning! Danger of injuries and damages if used improperly!
- Always respect and abide the safety instructions.
- Keep persons not involved in loading well away from the loading ramp.
- Avoid working alone. When working in pairs or with more persons, you will be able to assist one another if anything unforeseen happens.
- Always make sure that the working zone is sufficiently lit.
- Wear suitable clothing. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. They could get caught by moving parts. Wear non-conductive clothes, solid non-skid shoes, and work gloves.
- Protect long hair under a hairnet or tie it safely together.
- Wear protective goggles and hearing protection.
- Make for a secure footing to be able to keep your balance.
- Only use the device as described in the manual; otherwise, damages might occur and warranty might expire. Never exceed the max. admissible capacity.
- Always be careful. Do not use the device when being tired or under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medicine.
- Before operating the device, check it for damages. Have all damaged components replaced by an expert.
- Only use original spare parts. When using non-original spare parts, warranty will expire. Only use spare parts suitable for the device.
- All maintenance work must be done by an expert.
- Only use the device on a flat, level, and solid surface. Make sure that the end with the hooks/latch(es) rests completely on the rear flap or loading space of the vehicle.
- Make sure that the ramp is free of dirt, grease, and oil. Slip danger!
- After unpacking, check for completeness of components.
Use
- Keep animals and people away from the ramp and loading space.
- Never load a vehicle with the engine running. To be absolutely sure, wait for the engine to cool down before loading.
- Never exceed the max. admissible weight rated. Load slowly. Do not drop anything onto the ramp. Dropping a load onto the ramp might reduce the capacity and lead to damages and/or injuries. Only use the device on a hard, level, solid surface
Loading a motorcycle
- This work should be done by 3 individuals.
- Make sure that the ramp is free of dirt, grease, and oil. Slip danger!
- Make sure that the end with the hooks/latch(es) rests completely on the rear flap or loading space of the vehicle.
- Make sure that there is one person at either side of the motorcycle. Each person must hold the handlebar or front-wheel fork to guide the motorcycle.
- With the other hand, they must hold the rear side of the seat or the rear-wheel fork. The third person must stand behind the motorcycle to push it. After that, the person must stand on the loading space to guide the motorcycle.
- Set the motorcycle to idle cycle.
- During loading, make sure that the ramp cannot move and the hooks/latch(es) still rest com-pletely on the rear flap. If they do not, roll the motorcycle back with care and repeat.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Remove all greasy substances from the ramp, e.g., dirt, fat, oil, to avoid any slip danger.
- Regularly check the device for damages.
- Tighten all screws and nuts before each use.
