Fit System Limited Guarantee
KitchenAid offers a limited guarantee on select qualified standard single and double oven models, built-in refrigeration models, and slide-in range models. The guarantee ensures that the new KitchenAid model will fit into the existing cabinet or countertop cut-out without any modifications. The guarantee is subject to specific terms and conditions.

Steps to Submit a Fit System Limited Guarantee Claim

Follow the steps below to submit a claim for the Fit System Limited Guarantee within the specified time limits:

Within 30 days of the purchase or delivery date (whichever is later) and prior to cabinet modification (for built-in refrigeration and standard single and double oven models) or countertop cut-out modification (for slide-in range models), complete the contact, model, and purchase information on the claim form.
Call the Fit System Limited Guarantee Service Center at 800-422-1230 (for built-in refrigeration and standard single and double oven models) or 800-253-1301 (for slide-in range models) to initiate your claim.
Within 90 days of the purchase or delivery date (whichever is later), mail the following documents to the address provided by the
Fit System Limited Guarantee Service Representative:
- This completed and signed claim form.
- A legible copy of your sales receipt dated between 1/1/22 – 12/31/22 and proof of the delivery date if utilizing the delivery date to calculate the 30/90-day claim periods.
- A photograph of the existing oven model that is being replaced (for built-in refrigeration and standard single and double oven models) or a photograph of the existing model that is being replaced (for slide-in range models).
- A dated invoice or receipt from a professional installer or contractor stating the cost to modify your existing cabinet (for built-in refrigeration and standard single and double oven models) or the cost to modify your existing countertop cut-out (for slide-in range models).
Retain a copy of all documents for your records.
Allow 8 weeks from the date your claim form is mailed for delivery of claim payment.

WALL OVENS

Subject to the terms set forth herein, KitchenAid Brand of Whirlpool Corporation (hereafter “KitchenAid”) guarantees your new 27” or 30” KitchenAid Brand built-in standard single or double wall oven featuring the FIT System will fit your existing cabinet cut-out of a compatible model width and configuration or KitchenAid will provide up to $300 toward the cost of professionally modifying your cabinet’s height or width. The Fit System Limited Guarantee covers replacement installations in your existing cabinet and is not valid for new cabinet installations related to new home construction or remodeling. In unusual circumstances, the $300 maximum allowance may not cover the full cost of fitting your new 27” or 30” KitchenAid Brand built-in wall oven into your existing cabinet; you are solely responsible for all costs that exceed the $300 maximum cabinet modification allowance. KitchenAid makes no other guarantees as to the proper fit of your new KitchenAid Brand 27” or 30” built-in wall oven other than as set forth herein.

BUILT IN REFRIGERATION

Subject to the terms set forth herein, KitchenAid Brand of Whirlpool Corporation (hereafter “KitchenAid”) guarantees your new 36”, 42” or 48” wide qualifying KitchenAid® built-in bottom freezer, french door or side-by-side refrigerator will fit your existing cabinet cut-out of a compatible model (excludes column refrigerators and custom wood panels) or KitchenAid will provide up to $300 toward the cost of professionally modifying your cabinet’s height or width (excludes depth modifications). The Fit System Limited Guarantee covers replacement installations in your existing cabinet and is not valid for new cabinet installations related to new home construction or remodeling. In unusual circumstances, the $300 maximum allowance may not cover the full cost of fitting your new 36”, 42” or 48” wide KitchenAid® built-in refrigerator into your existing cabinet; you are solely responsible for all costs that exceed the $300 maximum cabinet modification allowance. KitchenAid makes no other guarantees as to the proper fit of your new KitchenAid® 36”, 42” or 48” wide built-in refrigerator other than as set forth herein.

Your sole and exclusive remedy under this Limited Guarantee shall be the cost of cabinet modification, up to a maximum of $300. Implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to one year or the shortest period allowed by law. KitchenAid shall not be liable for any damage done to your home or property, caused by you or any third party, during installation of the major appliance or cabinet modification. KitchenAid shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on the duration of implied warranties of merchantability or fitness, so these exclusions or limitations may not apply to you. 30” SLIDE-IN RANGES
Subject to the terms set forth herein, KitchenAid Brand of Whirlpool Corporation (hereafter “KitchenAid”) guarantees your new 30” KitchenAid Brand slide-in range (qualifying models listed below) featuring the FIT System will fit your existing cut-out of 30” width, countertop depth of 24”-25”,cabinet depth of 23”-24”, and countertop height of 36”. If your countertop cut-out depth is less than 24” and you are not satisfied with the fit of your new KitchenAid brand 30” slide-in range, KitchenAid will provide up to $100 toward the cost of professionally modifying the depth of your countertop cut-out. In addition, if your countertop cut-out depth is less than 24” and removal of your old range reveals uneven or slightly damaged edges on the sides of your countertop cut-out, KitchenAid will provide a set of two (2), (each ½ inch wide) trim pieces which are designed to cover up to ½ inch of the side edges of your countertop cut-out. The Fit System Limited Guarantee covers replacement installations in your existing cut-out and is not valid for appliance installations related to new home construction or remodeling. In unusual circumstances, the $100 maximum countertop cut-out modification allowance may not cover the full cost of modifying your countertop cut-out depth; you are solely responsible for all costs that exceed the $100 maximum countertop cut-out modification allowance. KitchenAid makes no other guarantees as to the proper fit of your new KitchenAid Brand 30” slide-in range other than as set forth herein.

TERMS: Limit one wall oven and one built-in refrigeration claim per household. Qualified replacement models must be purchased between 1/1/22 and 12/31/22. Consumer will receive the cabinet modification cost as stated on the professional installer or contractor invoice up to a maximum value of $300. Not valid for new cabinet installations related to new home construction or remodeling. LATE

Only valid in the USA. Not valid for bulk or multi unit sales to apartments, condominiums, subdivisions, and wholesalers. Omission of any required information will delay processing or disqualify your request. All submitted proofs become the property of Whirlpool Corporation and cannot be returned. Whirlpool Corporation cannot be responsible for lost, late, illegible, incomplete, damaged or misdirected submissions or postage due requests/mail. Fraudulent submissions could result in federal prosecution under U.S. Mail Fraud Statutes (Title 18, United States Code, Sections 1341 and 1342). ALL CLAIMS SUBJECT TO AUDIT. Whirlpool reserves the right to modify or cancel the guarantee at any time and without prior notice.
