Overview
Installation
Charging
It is recommended to fully charge your mouse before first use. The mouse is
charged via USB-C, located at the top of the mouse.
While plugged in, the mouse will operate in wired mode.
2.4G Wireless Mode
- Switch the mouse to 2.4G power mode.
- Connect the USB dongle to the USB adapter.
- Connect the USB adapter to a PC or game console using the included USB cable.
For optimal connection, keep the USB adapter within 20cm of the mouse.
While in 2.4G Mode, Battery percentage can be found within HyperX NGENUITY
software.
Bluetooth Mode
Upon first use, Haste 2 Wireless should be in Bluetooth Pairing Mode when switched to BT Power
- Switch the mouse to Bluetooth power mode (Mouse will flash blue on first setup).
- Go to your computer’s Bluetooth settings, search, and connect to “Haste 2 Wireless”.
While in BT Mode, Battery percentage can be found within Windows Bluetooth Settings
Bluetooth Pairing
To place Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless into Bluetooth Pairing Mode
- Turn Mouse power switch to “BT”
- Hold the left mouse button, right mouse button, and DPI button simultaneously until the mouse flashes blue.
- The Scroll wheel will flash Blue, indicating it is in Pairing Mode
Pairing Mode will automatically turn off after 30 seconds.
The mouse may only be paired with one other device at a time.
Windows Swift Pair

Place the mouse into Pairing Mode

Windows may automatically detect the mouse with Swift Pair via
a. Notification on the bottom right corner
b. Action Center panel -
Click “Connect” when prompted.
Windows 10 – Manual Pairing
- Place the mouse into Pairing Mode
- Navigate to Start Menu -> Settings -> Devices -> Bluetooth & Other Devices
- Click “Add Bluetooth or other devices”
- Click “Bluetooth”
- Click “Haste 2 Wireless” to connect
Windows 11 – Manual Pairing
- Place the mouse into Pairing Mode
- Navigate to Start Menu -> Settings -> Devices -> Bluetooth & Other Devices
- Click “Add device”
- Click “Bluetooth”
- Click “Haste 2 Wireless” to connect
Wired Mode
Connect the mouse to a PC or game console using the included USB cable.
USB connectivity will override the selected power mode and take over as
primary connection.
Grip Tape
Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless includes grip tape, which can be used for added control and comfort, if desired.
- Attach the button grip tape for the left [1] and right [2] mouse buttons, with the pointed end facing the forward direction of the mouse.
- Attach the side grip tape for the left [3] and right [4] sides of the mouse, following the shape of the mouse
Grip tape adhesion may weaken over time, or via repetitive removal and re-use of the original grip tape.
Replacement Skates
Pulsefire Haste 2 Wireless includes an extra set of PTFE skates, in case the preinstalled skates are lost, damaged, or worn. To replace the skates, follow these instructions
- Remove the skate by gently wedging a flat tool (e.g ., small flathead screwdriver, plastic card, or similar tool) under the skate.
- Lift and pry the skate from the mouse
- Remove adhesive residue and debris from the mouse – A clean dry surface will provide optimal adhesion.
- Peel the replacement mouse skate from the backing paper and install on the mouse (Use tweezers if needed).
- Remove the outer protective film.
DPI
There are 4 default DPI presets.
Up to 5 DPI levels can be stored on the mouse.
Customizing and saving DPI levels can be done within HyperX NGENUITY software.
Factory Reset
Press and hold DPI button and Mouse wheel button simultaneously, until the mouse LED flashes red momentarily and disappears once reset has completed.
Factory Settings
- DPI Levels – 400 / 800 / 1600 / 3200
- Polling Rate – 1000Hz
- RGB Lighting – Cycle effect

Cleaning and Care
To clean your mouse, follow the instructions below
- Unplug the mouse from your device.
- Wipe gently with a slightly damp, soft cloth (e.g., microfiber cloth).
Avoid using harsh cleaners such as products containing bleach
