• The blue and white wire on the power connector is used to detect the parking status and must be connected to the power of the parking brake switch.
• To prevent accidents, do not use this system for purposes other than navigation while driving.
• This system should be installed by a professional.
• In some countries, watching and operating video programs while driving is prohibited. For your safety and the safety of others, please do not watch programs or do related operations while driving a car.
• The navigation function of this product (and the optional backup camera) is only an aid to you when driving your vehicle. It does not mean you can be distracted, careless, or lose judgment while driving. Steelmate does not guarantee or assume liability for any accidents.
• Do not expose the system to liquids, as this may cause electric shock and may also cause damage and overheating to the system.
• The map data written on the TF card is the supplier’s intellectual property, and the map supplier will be responsible for such content.

About LCD screen

• Do not install this product in direct sunlight or high temperature for a long time. It may cause the LCD screen to malfunction.

• Please use this product within the following temperature range:
  Operating temperature: -10 C~ +50 C
  Storage temperature: -20 C~ +80 C

• Please do not press the LCD screen hard. Otherwise, it may cause malfunction.
  = Sometimes there are small black dots or flashing dots (bright spots) on the LCD screen. This is a phenomenon unique to the LCD screen and is not a malfunction.
  m= The screen may be darker when the power is turned on when used in cold areas. After a while, it can return to average brightness.

• When there is dust or dirt adhering to the LCD screen, please turn off the power first and wipe it with a soft cloth.
  = Do not use wet wipes or volatile chemicals such as oil or thinner to wipe the LCD screen.

About installation

Installation or repair of this system by persons not trained in electronic equipment and automotive accessories may result in a hazard. Please leave the installation and maintenance of this product to authorized agents and distributors.
The following dangerous installation positions or methods are prohibited:

• The areas that may interfere with the driver’s vision and operation of the vehicle, such as the dashboard or close to the steering wheel or gearshift.
• Do not install this product in front of or near the area from which the vehicle airbag deploys, such as the dashboard, door or pillar beam. Please refer to your vehicle owner’s manual for the front airbag deployment area.
• If drilling or other modifications are required for installation, please consult your nearest dealer.
• Please ensure that all leads do not get hung up by the sliding mechanism of the doors or seats, which may cause a short circuit.
• Please confirm that the other equipment connections to the vehicle are correct after completing the navigation system installation.
• Please confirm the rear space before cutting holes in the dashboard or panel. Be careful not to damage fuel cables, brake cables, electrical components, communication lines, or power cables.
• When using screws, ensure they are not in contact with any live leads. Vibration may damage the wire or insulation skin and cause a short circuit or other damage to the vehicle.
• To ensure proper installation, use the parts provided and install them in a specified manner. If any parts other than those supplied as standard are used, damage to this product may result.
• To avoid electromagnetic interference, keep other cables or leads as far away as possible from the FM and AM antennas, GPS antenna, and the leads of the product. Please separate each of the above leads as far as possible from each other, do not tie them together. Otherwise, it will lead to electromagnetic interference and cause the possibility of inaccurate positioning or display error.

About GPS

• GPS (Global Position System ) is built and operated by the U.S. Department of Defense, which is solely responsible for the accuracy and maintenance of the system. Any changes made by this entity may affect the accuracy and performance of the GPS unit.
• Please use this GPS navigation system with caution. The function of this system is to provide a navigation reference. Do not use this system for accurate measurements of position, distance, location, terrain, etc.
• Do not operate the navigation system while driving to ensure safety of driving.
• Wireless communication products (such as cell phones, speed alarms, etc.) may interfere with satellite reception, resulting in unstable signal reception.
• For the first GPS satellite positioning, please stay at the same place, preferably in an open area, and there should be no obstructions above. It may take more than three minutes to complete the first positioning, depending on the environment and the strength of the satellite signal at that time. ™ Suppose your car is equipped with car heat insulation film or explosion-proof film. In that case, it may interfere with the quality of the satellite reception signal.
• Traffic units in each region will adjust road attributes (one-way street, no left turn, etc.) according to local traffic conditions. Please follow the current road conditions, local signs and other traffic rules. If you are driving on a road that is different from the one shown on the map screen, please make your judgment as to whether or not you should take that route.
• The navigation system can accurately calculate your exact location by receiving more than three satellites. But sometimes, the reception of the signal will be affected due to the influence of weather or high-rise buildings in the city.

Basic Operation

Power on and off
Power on: Plug in the car key, the car’s ACC power is turned on. The device will automatically power on, display the boot animation.
Power off: Remove the car key, the car’s ACC power is turned off. The device will automatically shut down.

Main interface and application interface
This product has a multi page screen. Slide to the left or right to toggle.
On any page, click the HOME button on the screen to enter the main interface.
In the main interface, click the icon to enter the application interface. Long press the icon to bind the application , modify the icon and name.

Drop down menu interface

Touch the screen and drag it down to pop up the drop-down menu, and drag it up to hide it.
The functions of the status bar and drop-down menu are as follow:

WiFi: short press to turn on/off , long press to enter the WiFi page
Bluetooth: click to enter the Bluetooth page
Equalizer: jump to the sound adjustment page
Screen saver: click to enter the screensaver page
Settings: jump to the settings page
Floating icon: display floating icon after opening
Menu: parameter adjustment entry for some applications
Clean up the memory: clean up the running application
Screen shot: screen capture and save to file manager
Restart: whether the pop-up box confirms to restart the car
Brightness: drag the blue node to adjust the brightness bar
Volume: drag the blue node to adjust the volume bar
Back: return to the previous interface
 Home: return to the main interface
History record: all running applications will be displayed

Installation

Car stereo installation

1. Please remove the original car audio source.
2. Fix the positioning bolts and positioning rubber caps in the accessory bag on the car stereo. (Some products are not equipped with positioning bolts and positioning rubber caps, so there is no need to install them).
3. Connect the original audio cable and auxiliary equipment to the car stereo, then ACC ON to test the car stereo. If the system does not work properly, please check if the wiring is correct; if the system can work properly, then ACC OFF.
4. Install the correctly wired car stereo to the original car audio position, and ensure the installation is firm.

Notes:

• This product is suitable for a 12V power supply system, in order to avoid a short circuit in the system, removing the negative battery terminal before installation is recommended.
• Please do not plug the product under the power condition to prevent accidental damage.
• Do not cross the fuse and connect the product directly to the battery.
• Please check whether the standard model on the conversion line of the car stereo is the same as the car model.

This product is for vehicles with a battery and a negative ground terminal. Please check the battery voltage before installation.

GPS antenna installation

1. Before using the adhesive tape to fix the GPS antenna, please select the proper oil-soluble area. After cleaning:
   • Tear off the backing paper of the adhesive tape.
   • Place the GPS antenna in the appropriate position.
   • Press firmly.

2. Remove the side panel, and put the wire through the storage box until the car stereo of the center console. You need to pay attention to tying the wire with the original car wire with a tie.

3. Connect the GPS antenna plug to the car stereo.

Troubleshooting

Double confirm each wire is connected correctly and firmly
Fuse blown| Check the cause of the blowing and replace the fuse with a fuse of the same capacity
Internal processor does not work due to noise or other factor| Press the reset button
The touch keys on the screen do not react or react sluggishly| The touch key on the screen is offset from the actual response touch position| Please perform (touch screen coordinates Correction) setting
There are small black dots or bright spots in the screen| This is a unique phenomenon of the LCD screen, is not a failure|
LCD screen is dark| Improper brightness adjustment| Adjust the brightness
