This appliance is not intended for use by persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they are closely supervised and instructed concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance, power adapter and its cord out of reach of children.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not put power adapter, power adapter cord, cord, plug, or base in water or other liquid.

Turn appliance off (LCD display is blank), then unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts and before cleaning. To unplug adapter cord from mixer, grasp the charging plug and pull. To unplug power adapter, grasp the adapter and pull from the outlet. Never pull from the power cord.

Avoid contacting moving parts. Keep hands, hair, and clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils, away from beaters during operation to reduce risk of injury to persons and/or damage to mixer.

Remove beaters or whisk from mixer before washing.

Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces, including stove.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged power adaptor cord or plug, or after the appliance malfunctions or has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Power adapter replacement and repairs must be conducted by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Contact Customer Service for information on examination, repair, or adjustment as set forth in the Limited Warranty. -
The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.

Check that the appliance is off (LCD display is blank) before charging.

Do not use appliance for other than intended purpose.

Do not incinerate this appliance even if it is severely damaged. The batteries can explode in a fire.

Use only with the charger provided with the appliance. Do not attempt to use this charger with any other product. Likewise, do not attempt to charge this appliance with any other charger.

Do not use an extension cord. Plug charger directly into an electrical outlet.

The length of the adapter cord provided with this appliance was selected to
reduce the hazards of becoming tangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Care must be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not drape over the
countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or accidentally
tripped over.
**CAUTION** Moving Parts Hazard.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, always turn off the hand mixer (LCD
display is blank) before inserting or removing beaters or whisk.

Before first use:
- Fully charge Hand Mixer.
- Wash Beaters and Whisk in hot, soapy water. Rinse and dry.
How to Charge
- Slide Charging Plug into Charging Port, then plug Power Adapter into an outlet. Full charge may take up to 2 hours.
- Battery Indicator Light will flash green when charging and turn solid when fully charged. When charging, battery strength bars will gradually fill in.
- Always charge Hand Mixer when bottom bar of Battery Strength Indicator flashes.

- Fully charge Battery before first use.
- Battery must be charged when bottom bar of Battery Strength Indicator flashes.

Quick Charge
Lets you get back to mixing sooner.
- Pull up on Charging Port Cover end closest to back of Hand Mixer and slide Cover to expose Charging Port.
- Slide Charging Plug into Charging Port, and then plug Power Adapter into an outlet.
- Charge for 10 minutes for a 5 minute whisking time.
CAUTION Always turn mixer off with the power button before inserting or removing beaters or whisk.
How to Use

Make sure Hand Mixer has been fully charged and is off. Insert Beater with collar into larger opening on Mixer bottom and insert remaining Beater without collar into smaller opening. Push and click into place. Whisk can be added to either opening. Place Beaters into bowl. Then press Power Button to turn on.

Press center of Speed Control Dial to turn display on. Then turn Speed Control Dial clockwise to desired speed, starting at LO and increasing to a higher speed as desired.

Speed Control Dial can be turned counterclockwise to reduce speed at any time. Press center of Speed Control Dial to turn off.

Press Power Button to turn off. Squeeze Beater Eject Trigger to eject Beaters.
Cookie Mixing Guide:
- Cookie dough is one of the thickest doughs to mix.
- Use a large mixing bowl to spread out ingredients for easier mixing.
- Have butter or margarine at room temperature.
- Add flour 1 cup (237 mL) at a time, thoroughly mixing after each addition.
To Store Hand Mixer in Case, while holding Handle, slide front of Mixer onto
lip at highest side of Case. Press down to lock in place.
Storage Case – To remove Mixer from Case, while holding Handle, pull up
on Mixer.
General Mixing Guide
Select mixing speeds from LO to HI. Begin on LO and increase to desired speed,
depending on recipe consistency.

Battery Recycling
Disposal:
Hamilton Beach Brands, Inc. is concerned about protecting the environment
and, therefore, has chosen to participate in the RBRC® (Rechargeable Battery
Recycling Corporation) recycling program. The RBRC® is a nonprofit
organization whose recycling programs adhere to all federal, state and
provincial mandates concerning the proper collection, storage, and
transportation of lithium-ion batteries. The RBRC® Seal on the lithium-ion
battery indicates that the cost to recycle the battery pack has already been
paid. Call 1-800-8-BATTERY to find the nearest retail collection site. You may
also contact your local recycling center for information on where to drop off
the used battery pack. For more information on RBRC® , check out their website
at call2recyle.org.
Care and Cleaning

Press Power Button to turn off; display will not be illuminated. Squeeze Beater Eject Trigger to remove Beaters or Whisk before cleaning.

Twisted Wire Beaters and Whisk attachment are dishwasher-safe, or wash in hot, soapy water; rinse and dry.
WARNING Electrical Shock Hazard.
• Disconnect power before cleaning. Do not immerse mixer, cord, or plug in any liquid.
• Disconnect charging plug from charging port before cleaning.
CAUTION Always turn mixer off with the power button before inserting or removing beaters or whisk. -
Wipe Base with a clean, damp cloth.
NOTE: Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads. To reduce the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse Hand Mixer in water at any time.
Troubleshooting
Hand Mixer is working very slowly.
- Too many ingredients in bowl. Remove some ingredients and restart.
- Speed Control Dial is set too low. Turn Speed Control Dial clockwise to increase speed.
Why are Beaters or Whisk falling out?
- Beater hasn’t been fully inserted. Make sure Beaters are installed according to icons on bottom of Mixer and click into place.
Hand Mixer will not start.
- Ensure all steps to charge Hand Mixer are completed. 1. Press Power Button 2. Press Speed Control Dial 3. Turn Speed Control Dial.
- Hand Mixer is charging. When charging, Mixer cannot be used.
- Make sure Hand Mixer is fully charged, then press Power Button. Press center of Speed Control Dial and turn Speed Control Dial to desired speed.
Hand Mixer is not charging.
- Check to see if Power Adapter is securely plugged into an electrical outlet of proper voltage and frequency. Next, ensure Charging Plug is inserted into Charging Port on Hand Mixer.
- Power Adapter is not plugged into wall outlet, or circuit breaker is tripped. Plug into outlet and check function of outlet.
Hamilton Beach 5-Year Limited Warranty
This warranty applies to products purchased and used in the U.S. and Canada.
This is the only express warranty for this product and is in lieu of any other
warranty or condition.
This product is warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship
for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase. During this
period, your exclusive remedy is replacement of this product or any component
found to be defective, at our option; however, you are responsible for all
costs associated with our returning a product or component under this warranty
to you. If the product or component is unavailable, we will replace with a
similar one of equal or greater value.
This warranty does not cover glass, filters, wear from normal use, use not in
conformity with the printed directions, or damage to the product resulting
from accident, alteration, abuse, or misuse. This warranty extends only to the
original consumer purchaser or gift recipient. Keep the original sales
receipt, as proof of purchase is required to make a warranty claim. This
warranty is void if the product is used for other than single-family household
use or subjected to any voltage and waveform other than as specified on the
rating label (e.g., 120 V ~ 60 Hz).
We exclude all claims for special, incidental, and consequential damages
caused by breach of express or implied warranty. All liability is limited to
the amount of the purchase price. Every implied warranty, including any
statutory warranty or condition of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose, is disclaimed except to the extent prohibited by law, in which case
such warranty or condition is limited to the duration of this written
warranty. This warranty gives you specific legal rights.
You may have other legal rights that vary depending on where you live. Some
states or provinces do not allow limitations on implied warranties or special,
incidental, or consequential damages, so the foregoing limitations may not
apply to you.
