TURNING ON AND OFF THE CLEANING REMINDER
The cleaning reminder is set to on by default. If you want to turn off the reminder, you can press and hold the FROSTWASH button on the remote control for 3 seconds while the machine is running. The cleaning reminder is turned off at the “beep” sound, and you can press it again to turn it back on.
Turning off the FrostWash function will cause the accumulated running time to return to zero.

Freeze cleaning is not performed under the following conditions……… Within 60 minutes after the previous freezing cleaning is completed. During the environmental detection stage, when the ambient temperature and humidity are not within the operating range conditions. Air conditioner operation requests will interfere with the freeze washing operation. Thus, freeze washing operations will stop.
Symptoms that may occur when the freeze wash function is executed……
The longest execution time of freeze cleaning is about 86 minutes (the time may be shorter depending on the environment). It will automatically swing to the preset angle.
There will be a 30-second environment detection time before the freeze wash is executed.
1

When freezing and washing, please close the doors and windows to avoid condensation, which can cause the water to drop out of the body.
If the FrostWash function is interrupted while in operation, the drying process may not be completed. It may cause the inside of the body to be prone to mildew due to moisture. Please perform the FrostWash function when there is sufficient time and ensure that the function is complete.
When freezing and washing, a layer of white frost will adhere to the surface of the heat exchanger, which is a normal phenomenon.
During the freezing and cleaning process, the internal temperature of the indoor unit will drop slightly, and mist may be emitted from the air outlet, which is a normal phenomenon.
In performing freeze cleaning under different environmental conditions (such as high temperature and low humidity), there may be no frost on the surface of the heat exchanger, which is a normal phenomenon.
If the power is cut-off during the freeze cleaning process, the freeze cleaning will not continue after restoring the power supply.
During freeze cleaning, the preset wind direction angle will automatically adjust, so there will be a low motor running sound during the process. Also, the heat exchanger will frost and defrost, which may create a (Crack, crack), (Boom, boom) sound. It is a normal phenomenon and shall be performed when no one is around.
When performing the FrostWash operation, the unit will create noise due to the pressure change of frosting and defrosting applied on the system. It is recommended to perform it during the day when no one is asleep or when going out.
FrostWash cannot wash away all the dirt and mold. Please do regular inspection and maintenance at the beginning or end of six months to one year, or the beginning or end of the season. (Depending on room environment condition).
