Product Information
Villawood Drain Pan
The Villawood Drain Pan is a product designed to channel moisture away from outdoor appliances. It is available in two models: ODVILLA-36DP and ODVILLA- 42DP. It is compatible with the following outdoor appliances: ODVILLA-36T-B, ODVILLA-36H-B, ODVILLA-42T-B, and ODVILLA-42H-B. The drain pan is designed to be installed under the appliance and attached using silicone on the rear corners of the pan.
Drain Pan Dimensions
The outside dimensions of the Villawood Drain Pan are as follows:
- ODVILLA-36DP Outside dimensions: 41.45 in (1053 mm) x 21.61in (549 mm)
- ODVILLA-42DP Outside dimensions: 47.45 in (1205 mm) x 21.61 in (549 mm)
Please note that this pan can be modified to allow the most effective means of getting moisture from the enclosure.
Product Usage Instructions
- Apply silicone to the back corners of the drain pan to completely seal it.
- Attach the drain pan under the appliance using the silicone applied in step 1. See Figure 1 for reference.
- Position the drain pan lip on the front of the enclosure so it drains to the front of the enclosure. The membrane or flashing will be under drain pan.
- The enclosure should be at an angle of at least 1/4 per foot slope to ensure proper drainage. See Figure 2 for reference.
- Make sure the open area at weep holes or drainage slots are clear of all debris.
Please note that the drain pan is designed to channel moisture to the front of the enclosure. Care must be taken to ensure there is a 1/4 slope per foot in the enclosure to make sure water is drained away from appliance.
Tools Required
- Silicone suitable for outdoor use
- Membrane/Flashing behind drain pan
- 1/4 inch slope to front
Installation Instructions
- Model: ODVILLA-36DP, ODVILLA-42DP
- For use with ODVILLA-36T-B, ODVILLA36H-B, ODVILLA-42T-B & ODVILLA-42H-B
- Silicone should be applied to the back corners of the drain pan to completely seal the pan.
- The bottom of the drain pan can be installed directly on top of the enclosure or waterproof membrane.
- (Please note, this pan can be modified to allow the most effective means of getting moisture from the enclosure.)
Before You Start
- The drain pan is designed to channel moisture to the front of the enclosure.
- Care must be taken to ensure there is a 1/4″ slope per foot in the enclosure to make sure water is drained away from the appliance.
TOOLS REQUIRED
- Silicone suitable for outdoor use
Installation Instructions
- Silicone rear corners of the drain pan and attach the drain pan under the appliance. See Figure 1.
- Position the drain pan lip on the front of the enclosure so it drains to the front of the enclosure. The membrane or flashing will be an underdrain pan.
- The enclosure is to be at an angle of at least 1/4″ per foot slope to ensure proper drainage. See Figure2.
- Make sure the Open areas at weep holes or drainage slots are clear of all debris
