Statements regarding FCC and ISED
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC rules, RSS-247 of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED). Operation is subject to the following two conditions
- This device may not cause harmful interference.
- This device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures
- Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
- Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
- Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Changes or modifications made to this equipment not expressly approved by the manufacturer may void
FCC authorization to operate this equipment
Note
The country code selection is for non-US model only and is not available to
all US model. Per FCC regulation, all WiFi product marketed in US must fixed
to US operation channels only.
For ISED / ISDE
Caution
The device for operation in the band 5150-5250 MHz is only for indoor use to
reduce the potential for harmful interference to co-channel mobile satellite
systems where applicable, antenna type(s), antenna models(s), and worst-case
tilt angle(s) necessary to remain compliant with the e.i.r.p. elevation mask
requirement set forth in section 6.2.2.3 shall be clearly indicated.
RF Radiation Exposure Information
The product complies with the rules of FCC and ISED (RSS-102) for the portable
RF exposure limit set forth for an uncontrolled environment and is safe for
intended operation as described in this manual. This product is not subjected
to FCC routine RF exposure evaluation per Section 2.1093 and RSS-102 of ISED.
Further RF exposure reduction can be achieved if the product can be kept as
far as possible from the user body or set the device to lower output power if
such function is available.

License Agreement and any possible supplementary conditions in total Agreement
. In the event of conflict between this License Agreement and the
supplementary
conditions, the supplementary conditions shall prevail. The software provided
under this Agreement is protected by copyright and other national and
international intellectual property laws. By installing, using, or creating a
copy of this software, you accept this License Agreement.
Right of use
Sonova Consumer Hearing GmbH (hereinafter Sonova CHB grants you a non- exclusive and nontransferable right to use the software and related documentation provided under this License Agreement to administer and control Sonova CHB products intended solely for this purpose. Without a separate written license agreement, it is not permitted to use the software for the administration or control of other hardware than that of Sonova CHB.
Restrictions
The software is protected by intellectual property laws. Proprietary ownership
of the software and all related intellectual property including but not
limited to – modifications, improvements and revisions of the software remains
with Sonova CHB and/or its licensors. Modifications, reverse engineering or
recompilation of the software is only permitted if there is a legal or
contractual entitlement to do so. In addition to the rights granted under this
License Agreement, in particular with regard to trademarks
or trade names of Sonova CHB, no further rights are transferred or granted
under this License Agreement.
Warranty
It is known that, according to the current state of the art, it is not
possible to create software completely free of errors. In terms of its
properties, the software complies with the product specification and product
information issued by Sonova CHB. Sonova CHB does not give any warranty for
properties that go beyond the extent of their contractual applicability. If
you use the software as an entrepreneur, the warranty period is limited to 1
year.
Limitation of liability
In the case of negligent breach of essential contractual obligations, Sonova
CHB is liable up to the amount of the foreseeable damage typical for the
contract. In addition, Sonova CHB is liable for damage resulting from grossly
negligent or intentional behavior, insofar as the damage relates to the life,
body or health of a person or if Sonova CHB has provided a guarantee for the
performance of duties or if liability is determined by the product liability
act. Furthermore, Sonova CHB is liable insofar as essential contractual
obligations are violated, whereby essential contractual obligations are those
which make the proper execution of the contract possible and
on whose fulfillment you can trust accordingly. For the purpose of limiting
possible harm, the user is advised to protect his own data processed by the
software from loss, even independently of the software, and this
recommendation does not affect the liability according to the aforementioned
paragraphs of this section 4.
Termination of this Agreement
This Agreement is effective until terminated. The termination can be made
by the complete and unconditional uninstalling and deletion of the software or
destruction of your respective data media or taking out of operation of the
device. Sonova CHB will terminate this Agreement immediately and without
notice as soon as you violate any of your obligations under this Agreement. In
any event of termination of the Agreement, you must uninstall the software and
permanently delete or destroy any
copies of the software or take the device out of operation.
Choice of law and jurisdiction
Insofar as you are an entrepreneur, German law applies to the relations resulting from or in connection with this Agreement, excluding the UN Sales Convention. In this case, the place of jurisdiction shall be the competent court at the seat of Sonova CHB. This product respective the software offered here for download includes
software code developed by third parties, including software code subject to
the GNU General Public License Version 2 (GPL), GNU Lesser General Public
License LGPL, Mozilla Public License MPL and GNU Free Documentation License
GFDL. All source code packages licensed under LGPL used in this firmware can
be downloaded from https://cdn.sennheiser-
cloud.com/opensource/index/soundbar/index html In addition, you can access
the source code package and supplementary license terms and conditions of open
source software used via the implemented interface of the AMBEO Soundbar SB02.
You can
open this user interface on a computer or a mobile device using an Internet
browser. The prerequisite for this is that the computer/mobile device is
connected to the wireless LAN of the Soundbar („AMBEO Soundbar serial number.
