BLUDIVE BD40 Dive Light

The Bludive BD40 is a high performance LED dive torch with 18001m max output that utilizes an imported Luminus SS T 40 LED. The SMO reflector emits a concentrated beam at an angle of 6 degrees. Users can switch between the 3 brightness settings, High-Low-Strobe, by pressing the stainless steel side switch. Powered by a 21700 Lithium battery, a maximum runtime of 7 H can be achieved. With the robust water pressure resistant construction, compact size and functional user interface, the BD40 is perfectly suited as a primary light for recreational diving and as a backup light for deep / professional diving purposes.

• SMO reflector with AR coated 4mm tempered lens to provide a clear concentrated beam at 60 n
• The desired mode is easily selected with the stainless steel side switch and the built-in power indicator makes it easy to determine the remaining power status. Water pressure resistant rating of 150meters.
• Aircraft-grade high strength aluminum material used for the body.
• Reverse polarity protection to protect from incorrect battery installation.
• Over discharge protection function to automatically downshift when the battery is low to prevent over discharge.

Battery Installation

Please install the batteries in the correct sequence

Note: DO NOT use battery with damaged surface or deformation to avoid short circuit, leakage, explosion, etc.

Operation Instruction

ON-OFFIChange Mode

• A single click of the side switch will switch the flashlight on/off and a press and hold of the switch will cycle through the modes: high- low-strobe.

Lock Function

• The lock function is designed to avoid unintended/accidental activation of the device.
• If the flashlight is off for more than 3mins, the lock mode will activate. Press and hold the switch for 2 seconds to unlock the device.
• If the switch is pressed and the indicator light is green, it indicates that the flashlight is in locked mode. You have to unlock the device before in order to switch it on.

Power Indicator
When turning the flashlight on, the built-in indicator on the side switch will indicate the remaining power status as follows:

• Green: 100%-300/%
• Red: 30%-5%
• Red Flash: 5%-1%

Usage and Maintenance

• Please clean the surface of the flashlight and wipe it dry after use to prevent corrosion caused by seawater.
• Do not drop or place the light in sand to prevent sand entering the side switch or screw thread.
• Tighten all the connecting parts of the flashlight before going underwater.
• Please take out the batteries after each dive session.
• Please don’t disassemble the sealed head. This can cause damage to the flashlight and affect its waterproof rating.
• Please inspect the O-rings before going underwater and replace the O-rings if they are damaged. Regularly lubricate the O-rings with silicon grease to minimize wear.
• Please clean the contact points of your flashlight from time to time. If the light flickers or don’t light up, please investigate the following probable causes:
  • 1.) The battery need to be replaced; or
  • 2.) The thread or the contact side is corroded by sea water which will cause poor contact or non- conducting. You can use abrasive paper to polish the surface and increase its conductivity.
• Do not shine light directly into eyes.

Warranty

• The product is provided a 2-yearwarranty. Any non-artificial damage, please contact after-sales department.
• The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, modifications, misuse, disintegrations, negligence, accidents, improper maintenance, or repairs by anyone other than an authorized retailer or Bludive itself.

Warranty Card This flashlight is covered by a 2-years warranty from the date Of purhcase. The warranty covers manufacturer defect solely and becomes invalid if the flashlight is sujected to work by an unauthorized party.
