Hair Dryer (HD-618)

Thank you for purchasing the Cetis Hair Dryer. Please read the following instructions carefully to ensure safe and proper use of the product.

Product Important Safety Instructions

  • Always read all instructions before using.
  • Keep away from water to reduce the risk of electric shock.
  • Unplug immediately after each use.
  • Do not place or store the appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
  • Do not use it while bathing or place it in or drop it into water or other liquid.
  • If the appliance falls into the water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.
  • Always unplug small appliances when not in use.

Note: An electric appliance is still electrically live even if the switch is off. If the plug is in, the power is on. Therefore, it is important to keep the appliance unplugged when not in use.

Operating Instructions

  1. Before plugging in, ensure that your hair is at least 80% dry.
  2. Connect the hair dryer to a power source and select the desired temperature and speed settings.
  3. Aim the hair dryer downwards and start drying your hair from the roots to the tips.
  4. After use, turn off the hair dryer and unplug it from the power source.

Product Precautions

  • Do not use the hair dryer near flammable materials or gases.
  • Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Do not use the hair dryer with a damaged cord or plug.
  • Do not use the hair dryer if it has been dropped or damaged.
  • Keep the hair dryer away from children and pets.
  • Do not immerse the hair dryer in water or any other liquid.

To reduce the risk of death by electric shock:

  1. Always unplug immediately after each use.
  2. Do not place or store appliances where they can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
  3. Do not use it while bathing.
  4. Do not place in or drop into water or other liquid.
  5. If an appliance falls into the water, unplug it immediately. Do not reach into the water.

WARNING– To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to persons:

  1. An appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
  2. Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is used by, on, or near children or invalids.
  3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments not recommended by the manufacturer.
  4. Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug if it is not working properly if it has been dropped or damaged, or if it has been dropped into water. Return the appliance to a service center for examination and repair.
  5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
  6. Never block the air openings of the appliance or place it on a soft surface, such as a bed or couch, where the air openings may be blocked. Keep the air openings free of lint, hair, and the like.
  7. Never drop or insert any object into any opening.
  8. Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used.
  9. Connect this appliance to a properly grounded outlet only.
  10. Do not direct hot air toward the eyes or other heat-sensitive areas.
  11. Attachments may be hot during use. Allow them to cool before handling.
  12. Do not place the appliance on any surface while it is operating.
  13. While using the appliance, keep hair out of it – keep hair away from the air inlets.
  14. Do not operate with a voltage converter.

Everyone knows that electricity and water are a dangerous combination, but did you know that an electric appliance is still electrically live even if the switch is off? If the plug is in, the power is on. So when you are not using your appliances, keep them unplugged.

SERVICING OF DOUBLE-INSULATED APPLIANCES

In a double-insulated appliance, two insulation systems are provided instead of grounding. No grounding means are provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for grounding be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system and should be done only by qualified service personnel. Replacement parts for a double-insulated appliance must be identical to the replacement parts. A double-insulated appliance is marked with the words DOUBLE INSULATION or DOUBLE
INSULATED. The symbol (square within a square) may also be marked on the appliance. This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way as a safety feature. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Operating Instructions

  1. Connect the hairdryer plug to the power outlet and push on the switch.
  2. The temperature control switch 1 is set to an appropriate position. By default, the temperature control switch is set to hot air. Press the temperature control switch to cold air.
  3. Toggle switch 2 to select shutdown, soft, and strong wind gear.

When the temperature switch is in the hot air stall:

  • It is high-temperature strong wind when the toggle switch is set to strong wind.
  • It is low gentle wind when the toggle switch is set to soft wind gear.

When the temperature switch is in the cold air:

  • It is strong natural wind when the toggle switch is turned to the strong wind gear.
  • It is soft natural wind when the toggle switch is turned to the soft wind gear.

After use

  1. Please dial the switch key to turn off the gear.
  2. After confirming that the power button is turned off, pull the power plug out of the socket.
  3. Place the hairdryer on an insulating surface and wait for the product to cool completely before receiving
  4. Store the hairdryer in a safe, dry, clean place.

Precautions

  1. Do not use the hairdryer with a wet hand; do not put the hairdryer near the sink or in places where there is water or other liquids, or in excessively damp places.
  2. The hairdryer shall be used with a standard electric outlet, and check the output voltage of the electric outlet. It shall not be used with other electrical appliances simultaneously.
  3. Make sure that the voltage used is consistent with the rated voltage indicated on this product.
  4. Do not leave when the hairdryer is working.
  5. After use or in case of power failure during use, remove the plug from the electric outlet. When pulling out the plug, hold the plug to pull it out of the electric outlet.
  6. If the operation of the hairdryer is intermittent, stop using it immediately.
  7. Do not force the power cord, and do not damage or modify the power cord.
  8. Avoid dropping the hairdryer or protect the hairdryer against strong impact.
  9. Do not use the hairdryer near gas or other flammable materials.
  10. Try to avoid using the hairdryer in the bathroom.
  11. Be careful not to get your hair entangled into the air inlet during use, and do not insert objects into the air outlet or the air inlet.
  12. When using the hair dryer, do not blow the air directly to your eyes or other sensitive positions.
  13. Do not allow children to toy with it.
  14. Do not use the hairdryer for purposes other than hair drying and hairdressing.
  15. Do not use this hair dryer with any accessories not supplied with it.
  16. Keep the air outlet at least 10 cm away from your hair when using the hairdryer.
