Plancha Grill
The Plancha Grill is a Livoo product that operates on a voltage of 220-240V, 50-60Hz, and has a power output of 1600-1900W. The device has a removable non- stick plate, a heating element, a grease tray, and a base. It also has two control knobs – one for the grill zone and the other for the plancha cooking zone. The device is designed for use in residential environments and is not intended to be operated using external timers or remote control systems.
Product Usage Instructions
- Before using the Plancha Grill, ensure that your main voltage corresponds to that stated on the device.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Safety Instructions
Please, take time to read well the instruction sheet before the first use and keep them for future use. Misuse of the appliance can damage it or hurt the user. Assure that you use the appliance for the use for which it is designed. We refuse any responsibility as for the damages by an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.
- Check that your main voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance.
- The safety instructions do not by themselves eliminate any danger completely and proper accident prevention measures must always be used.
- Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
- Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8 years.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved
- Children shall not play with the appliance.
- Cleaning and use maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 years and supervised.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard (*).
- Do not pass the cord over objects with sharp edges and keep it at a distance from, hot objects and bare flames. Always pull on the plug to disconnect it from the feed source.
- For extra protection, it is possible to equip your home s electrical system with a residual current circuit breaker with voltage break at 30 mA max mum. Ask your electrician for advice.
- Make sure that the cord or the extension cable is not at risk of being pulled inadvertently nor of being topped over by anyone at the time of use.
- When you use an extension cable. Make sure that it is adapted to the appliance’s essential consumption. Contrary to this, the extension cable and/ or the plug risks overheating.
- Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in the instructions.
- Never immerse your appliance base in water.
- In case the appliance accidentally falls into water disconnect it immediately. Have it checked by an expert before re-using, if you do not do this you run the risk of electrocution.
- Never try to open the casing yourself.
- Do not use the appliance if your hands are damp.
- Do not touch the plug if your hands are damp or wet.
- Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
- Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
- Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk damaging the appliance.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any way. Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
- Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
- Unplug the appliance when not in use.
- It is absolutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times as it comes into direct contact with food.
- Regarding the instructions for cleaning surfaces in contact with food, thanks to refer to the below paragraph “cleaning” in the manual.
- The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of external timer or a separate remote control system.
- Keep this manual with the appliance. If the appliance is to be used by a third party, this instruction manual must be supplied with it.

Use of the device
- Clean the hob before use. Plug in the appliance and heat it up without any load to remove any residues.
- Preheat the appliance before each use.
- Place the drip tray under the grease outlet (Figure 1 no. 3).
- If you wish, you can brush the baking tray (Figure 1 no. 1) with a little vegetable oil before placing the food on it.
- Be very careful when using oil! If it is heated too much, it can catch fire.
- We suggest you to place your meat to be grilled on the “grill” cooking area and your vegetables on the “plancha” cooking area. Use a wooden spatula to turn your food.
- Use a wooden spatula to turn your food without damaging the plate.
- Set the temperature control knobs for each cooking zone (Figure 1 no. 5 & 6) according to your choice (fast cooking = high or slow cooking = low).
- During cooking, the appliance stops heating when the hob has reached the maximum temperature.
- The appliance will automatically restart heating as soon as the hob temperature is too low.
- After cooking, make sure the temperature control knob is in the “OFF” position and unplug the griddle.
Cleaning and maintenance
- Caution! Do not use detergents, wire brushes or other abrasive objects to clean the plate.
- Be very careful when using cooking oil, if it is overheated it can catch fire.
- Unplug the appliance before cleaning the plate and allow it to cool.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water.
- Clean the plate while it is still warm, using warm soapy water, and diluted white vinegar.
- Gently wipe the plate with a sponge or cloth. You can also place the plate in your dishwasher. Only the
- grease trap and the removable baking tray are dishwasher safe.
- Use a damp cloth to clean the stand.
Correct disposal of the unit (Electrical and Electronic Equipment).
(Applicable in the European Union and the rest of Europe that have adopted separate collection systems countries). The European Directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal household waste stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The symbol of the crossed-out dustbin is marked on all products to remind the obligations of separate collections. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct disposal of their product.
