Installation

Operation

Always turn on the hood before starting to cook to create an air flow in the kitchen. Let the hood run for a few minutes after turning off the stove to clear the air. This helps keep the entire kitchen clean and fresh.

  • Low Speed Button: For ventilation with low noise or for simmering with very little smoke and steam.
  • Medium Speed Button: For daily cooking.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Grease Filters

The grease filters should be cleaned frequently and can be washed in a dishwasher at high temperature without using any detergent.

Charcoal Filters

Charcoal filters should be replaced every 2-4 months depending on usage. Replace more often if your cooking style generates a lot of grease, such as stir-frying. These filters cannot be washed and reused. See the installation instructions that come with your charcoal filters.

Cleaning of Stainless Steel

  • Do: Regularly clean with a rag or cloth soaked in warm water and mild detergent or liquid soap.
  • Don’t: Use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or scrape with metal objects.

Warning: When choosing a cleaning agent, avoid all cleaning agents that contain bleach as they attack stainless steel. Also avoid products containing chlorine, fluorine, iodine, bromine as they quickly tarnish the metal surface.
